Role Overview


As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by targeting mid-sized and large merchants in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Based in Valencia and reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll focus on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, and other teams to ensure a seamless sales process and deliver value to our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage with mid-sized and large merchants in Spain and Portugal, leveraging outbound and inbound strategies.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients.
  • Deal Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring pipeline health in HubSpot.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target accounts.
  • Market Expansion: Act as a key contributor to STAMP’s growth strategy in Spain and Portugal, providing market insights and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales to align on goals, strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales metrics, including KPIs and revenue targets, using data to drive continuous improvement.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales role, targeting mid-sized and large merchants, preferably in the B2B SaaS or fintech sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Spanish and Portuguese markets, with experience navigating their cultural and business nuances.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with fluency in Spanish and English. Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and sales tools.
  • Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Based in Valencia, with flexibility for occasional travel within the target regions.
