Join our team and build the furure of space technology

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Quality Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to join our Quality team with the addition of a Quality Engineer to ensure that our products and services maintain the highest standards.

What you will be doing?

• Participating in the development of the organization's Quality policy.
• Managing ISO 9001 certification: maintenance, audits, and follow-up actions.
• Conducting internal and external audits.
• Reviewing processes and standards, and identifying customer requirements.
• Preparing, reviewing, and controlling quality plans, technical instructions, and procedures.
• Managing quality indicators and improvement proposals.
• Identifying and monitoring risks, anomalies, and non-conformities.
• Defining and implementing Quality Assurance Plans for Products/Projects.
• Providing quality support to other areas of the organization, such as Production or AIV (Assembly, Integration & Verification).
• Performing quality inspections of processes, products, or suppliers.
• Participating in the future transition towards ISO 9100 certification.
  
  

• The selected candidate should have a good command of English.
• Previous experience in similar positions.
• Experience with quality systems (ISO 9001).
• Degree in Electronic, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, plus a Master’s degree in Quality.
  
  

• Knowledge of ECSS standards (European Cooperation for Space Standardization), the 9100 standard (aerospace-specific quality), or IPC standards (Electronics Industry).
• Knowledge of dimensional metrology.
• Formal training in Quality Management Systems.
  
  

• Work remotely a % of the time to be defined with the Area Manager.
