Website Graphic Designer
dobney.com · Palamós, ES
Teletrabajo CSS Bootstrap HTML UX/UI
Company Description
dobney.com research is a market research business that has developed the Cxoice Insight Systems platform. Cxoice is a web-based application and portal, used to create advanced web surveys, create dashboards and build community areas including web-overlay surveys and video surveys.
Role Description
This is a full or part-time hybrid role for a Website Graphic Designer with a strong visual eye, who is able to work directly with CSS and images to bring websites to life. The role offers work-from-home flexibility, but you much be able to get to Palamos or Baix Emporda for regular face-to-face meetings.
The Website Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating graphics for all the elements of Cxoice. From the overall look and feel of the application, to landing pages and marketing materials, to the look-and-feel designs for surveys, reporting and customised portals for clients. Daily tasks include collaborating with the technical team, creating visually appealing and user-friendly web pages, adjusting and improving existing content, and ensuring all graphic design work aligns with the application's identity.
Note that Cxoice is a large application and uses its own system of CSS templating - not off-the-shelf frameworks. Consequently, we need strong skills in CSS, with a designer that is able to work directly with CSS over a standardised HTML template and who understands the principles of responsive design, with CSS that is able to cater to user-generated content. In particular, we'll need to see that you can create great graphics without relying on Tailwind or Bootstrap.
The job will require regular face-to-face meetings with the technical team so you must be able to travel to Baix Emporda in Spain (no fully remote applications please). English will be helpful but is not a requirement if you are fluent in Spanish or Catalan and have the skills we require.
Qualifications
- Skills in Graphics, Graphic Design, and Web Design
- Good understanding and knowledge of CSS and HTML (and potentially SVG)
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles is a plus
- A degree qualification is not needed, but we will need to see a current portfolio
