Accueillir les clients et déterminer le nombre de convives. Installer les clients à une table disponible et propre, tirer les chaises et placer un menu à jour et propre devant chacun. Guider les clients à travers la salle à manger et les aider selon leurs besoins. Déplacer et organiser les tables et les chaises, modifier l'organisation générale et gérer les places pour les groupes ayant des besoins spécifiques. Vérifier que les places sont appropriées et que chaque client dispose d'une serviette, d'argenterie propre et de tout autre élément standard. Vérifier qu'il y a suffisamment de menus et qu'ils sont à jour, propres et sans plis. Assurer la propreté des zones de travail tout au long de la journée, respecter les procédures de nettoyage continu. Contrôler les places disponibles dans les salles à manger, le service, la sécurité et le bien être des clients. Suivre et appliquer toutes les politiques et procédures de sécurité de la chaîne ; rapporter les accidents, les blessures et toutes les conditions de travail considérées comme étant dangereuses ; suivre les formations et obtenir les certifications requises en matière de sécurité. S’assurer de porter un uniforme de travail propre et complet ; avoir une apparence soignée et professionnelle en tout temps sur les lieux de travail ; respecter la confidentialité dans la diffusion d’informations propres à la bannière et/ou à l’hôtel et protéger tous les biens de la compagnie. Accueillir et recevoir tous les clients conformément aux standards de la chaîne. Utiliser un langage clair et courtois lors de toute communication ; répondre au téléphone en employant le langage approprié. Développer des relations professionnelles positives et constructives avec vos pairs ; s’unir et s’entraider afin d’atteindre les buts communs ; écouter et répondre de façon appropriée aux problèmes des autres employés. Assurer le respect des exigences et des standards de qualité. Être habitué à travailler debout, assis et à être en mouvement sur une longue période de temps. Déplacer, soulever, porter, tirer et placer des charges pesant 4,5 kilos maximum de façon autonome. Effectuer toutes les autres tâches demandées par les responsables et qui correspondent au poste.

Overview
The PhD Fellowship Programme offered by The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is aimed at exceptional graduate students from all over the world, to support their enrolment in a training and research programme in the field of chemistry, ultimately leading to the completion of a Doctoral Thesis in partnership with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV).
The programme will also contribute to their professional career development, in the fields of academia and industry.

The performance of an individual research project under the direction of an internationally renowned Group Leader, in a creative and stimulating scientific environment.
Opportunities for short stays in distinguished international research institutions.
Opportunities for complementary training in both technical and soft skills.
Trainings are designed to ensure a successful career: weekly scientific seminars, hands-on training in the use of state-of-the-art scientific instrumentation, IP management, entrepreneurship, research integrity, knowledge and technology transfer, grant applications, project management, communication skills and career development.
The programme is addressed to highly qualified and talented graduate students with a keen interest in chemical research.

For academic records not issued in Catalan, Spanish or English, a certified translation in English should be provided; otherwise, will be non-eligible and, therefore, not taken into consideration.
For degrees obtained in foreign institutions, the academic record must include the range of marks used in the corresponding countries and the minimum mark to pass, as well as the hours or ECTS and marks for each subject.

English proficiency level
: Applicants must provide evidence of their proficiency in written and oral communication in the English language.
Preferably, by the submission of a B2 certificate, First Certificate, IELTS 6 or equivalent.
This certificate is not mandatory but desirable, and alternatively late-stage candidates will be interviewed to assess their English level.
Applicants from Anglosphere (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) are exempt from this requirement.
Applicants should select only one PhD supervisor.
Once the application has been successfully completed, an acknowledgement e-mail will be automatically sent.
Candidates must ensure that all information is included before the deadline.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
III.
Eligibility criteria
The programme is open to graduate students, from any nationality that fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have a Master's or an equivalent degree in the areas of Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines, completed by September of ****, that allows them to be admitted in a Spanish PhD Programme by the time the grant starts (scheduled for the fourth quarter of ****).
When in doubt regarding the eligibility criteria, applicants should contact ICIQ's People Unit at ****** prior to submission of the application.
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be evaluated according to the Evaluation Criteria described in point IV.
IV Evaluation criteria
:
Criteria 1.
Academic and/or scientific-technical career path of the candidate (up to 50 points).
Sub-criteria
- a) Scientific-technical contributions (up to 45 points).
- b) Mobility and internationalization (up to 5 points).
Criteria 2
Adequacy of the candidate to the research activities to be carried out (up to 50 points).
The adequacy of the candidates to the program, project or research activities to be carried out will be assessed based on their previous training and experience.
For that purpose, consideration shall be given to the added value that carrying out the project will represent for their research career, as well as the value contributed to the institution and the host research group.
V. Evaluation and Selection Process
The Evaluation And Selection Of The Candidates Will Be Performed By The Project Supervisor Supported By The Human Resources Team, And Following The Below Procedure:
Submitted applications will be checked for eligibility and those not fulfilling all the criteria will be rejected.
It will not be possible to modify the application or to add missing documentation after the call deadline.
The selection will be based on the evaluation criteria described in Section IV.
At the late stages of the selection process, short-listed candidates will be contacted for a personal interview.
All applicants will be notified of the final selection decision by the end of September of ****.
The name of the awardees will be published on ICIQ's website.
Candidates may submit allegations they deem to be appropriate, within 10 days of the date of the publication.
Successful candidates will be requested to inform ICIQ whether they accept or decline the offer within five business days after being notified.
The offer will be considered declined in the event that the applicant does not respond during this time.

Grant Conditions
The awardees of an FPI-ICIQ PhD fellowship will be considered research personnel in training and they will have an employment contract (a pre-doctoral contract) which is regulated in the Spanish Law *******, of June 1st, of Science, Technology and Education.
The Grant Conditions are regulated in the **** call of "Proyectos de Generación del Conocimiento" and grants for predoctoral researchers associated to these projects, in the framework of the "Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica, Técnica y de Innovación *********."
Articles 3, 12 and 13.
The grant includes the salary, the enrolment fees to a PhD program (up to 4 years) and the opportunity to carry out fully funded short stays in other institutions, companies or universities abroad.
Pre-doctoral contracts are renewed annually for up to 4 years.
Renewal is subject to satisfactory performance in the PhD studies and related research activities.
The time spent with previous pre-doctoral contracts will be deducted from the 48 months granted.
The gross yearly salary of the contract shall be split into 12 monthly payments and distributed as shown below:
First and Second year of PhD: ******,41€ /year
Third year of PhD: ******,01€ /year
Fourth year of PhD: ******,77€ /year
The amounts are stated according to the rules of the Estatuto del Personal Investigador en Formación (EPIF) and they will be increased if the EPIF is updated.
The fellowship includes full social security coverage through the Spanish Social Security system, providing access to the Spanish public health care system and pension and unemployment benefits.
The FPI-ICIQ grant holders will have the option to reach the stage of Postdoctoral researcher (POP) if the PhD Thesis is defended before the end of the grant.
In this case, the PhD and the supervisor shall be able to agree the signature of a postdoctoral contract of a maximum length of 12 months.
The combined duration of both periods (predoctoral and postdoctoral) cannot exceed the 48 months.
The grant holder is entitled to temporarily interrupt the fellowship in the situations regulated in Article 21.C) of the Spanish Law *******, of June 1st, of Science, Technology and Education and in the Article 25.7 of the **** call of "Proyectos de Generación del Conocimiento" and grants for predoctoral researchers associated to these projects, in the framework of the Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica, Técnica y de Innovación *********.
The time elapsed during this interruption will not be accounted for against the total time.
The contract will take effect on the date when the awarded student joins the centre.
The PhD fellowship awardees will work full-time at ICIQ and may not receive any other fellowship with the same purpose or regular income.
VII.
Scientific reporting
The pre-doctoral researchers in training will have to report about the activities, objectives achieved, etc to the Ministry, using the templates available on the website of the agency.
The researchers must submit two reports, one intermediate (month 20 of the grant) and the other final, the latter relating to the entire period of execution of the grant, including the POP phase, if applicable.
The Researchers will receive support for the entire duration of the fellowship from the Grants Officers.

The pre-selection process will be based on qualifications and expertise as reflected on the candidates' CVs.
This phase is merit-based.
Interview:
Preselected candidates will be interviewed by the Hiring Manager of the position and the appointed Selection Committee.
Offer Letter:
Once the successful candidate is selected, the People Unit will extend a Job Offer, specifying the start day, salary and overall job conditions.
