Job Summary:
O Beach Ibiza is looking for a skilled and passionate photographer/videographer to join our team and be wholly responsible for the input and output of our image and video-based content efforts. This is a hands-on, creative role focused on producing professional deliverables for the O Beach brand and our sister businesses. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong technical and creative abilities across photography and video production—from capturing moments to editing for multi-channel marketing use.
You'll be responsible for shooting live outdoor events, promotional campaigns, merchandise, food and drink, staff and lifestyle content, with the opportunity to directly contribute to the brand's visual identity.
Must have own equipment. Experience with tools like Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and industry-standard editing software is essential. A genuine interest in music, nightlife, and entertainment is also a big plus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•Collect and file high-quality, on-brand photo and content, from the candid to the stylised
•Use a mix of media skills in post-production (eg. graphics, photo and video touch-ups and editing, animation, data visualisation, audio sourcing) to supply professional-grade content, ready-made for marketing collateral, operations and internal comms
•Be wholly responsible for the input and output of our image and video-based content efforts, from start to finish
•Take the lead on our content library, keeping it regularly updated with aspirational image and video content in line with brand guidelines
•While building and maintaining our current digital asset library, you will also play a key role in shaping the visual storyline of marketing touchpoints
•Work with the marketing and events team on daily asset management to ensure we meet creative marketing objectives
•Act as a producer, overseeing any prep and additional requirements on-set (eg. props, external equipment, all activities and materials supporting each photographic and video shoot project
•Work with detailed content briefs as well as concepting your own
•Secure and archive relevant permissions needed for image use
•Keep up-to-date on video and photography trends to ensure we're at the forefront of the industry
•Actively participate in press and marketing meetings
Skills and Personal Characteristics:
•Must have own equipment
•Excellent knowledge of photography/videography within the physical and (mostly) digital spaces
•Must display excellent technical and photographic skills
•Must display a genuine passion for both photographic and video content and a commitment to holding editorial integrity
•Experience with industry-standard editing tools and asset management software
•Must have excellent post-production skills especially with software such as Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Photo Mechanic
•Must have good communication and people skills
•Ability to multitask while showing commitment to detail
•Must be committed to deadlines and be open to flexible working hours
•Have a sound knowledge of the evolving nature of social media
•Demonstrate maturity and professionalism
•A Positive attitude
•Strong communication and organisational skills
•The ability to work well independently but also working alongside team members
•Must work well under pressure
•Must have an interest in the music industry
•Must display a desire to grow within the brand and see this as a long-term position.
