The ETF/Credit Desk in Madrid have a need for a fully integrated IT solution to their requirements, which are (at a high level):

Calculation of ETF pricing, for voice quotation and for transmission to electronic trading systems

Data consolidation from multiple external sources and cleanup, to allow pricing and trading from a unified set of data

Integration with e-trading systems such as ION but also in-house solutions

Role Description

Santander seeks a senior Business Analyst, experienced in working with market-making Credit traders and understanding their requirements. The role of the Business Analyst will be critical to ensure full definition, visibility and understanding of the requirements across all stakeholders, and to communicate the detail of the requirements to the technical teams and architectural lead, to ensure deliver of a high-quality solution.

The Business Analyst will also perform project management functions; tracking and communicating progress to stakeholders, senior management and to the Rates/Credit Programme Manager.

Santander uses the Agile methodology, so the Business Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the Epics and User Stories consistent with a Roadmap, and for building out the content of the User Stories for consumption by the development and testing/QA teams.

¿QUÉ SE OFRECE?

• Contrato indefinido
• Horario de L a V de 7:00 a 15:00
• Salario entre 40.000 y 45.000 euros/brutos anuales en función de la experiencia aportada al puesto
  
  

• Supervisión de todos los procesos contables e impositivos de la compañía
• Coordinación y supervisión de todos los procesos del departamento financiero
• Responsabilidad y supervisión de la contabilidad general, tesorería, impuestos, elaboración de cuentas anuales y contabilidad analítica
• Planificación, realización y control de los cierres mensuales, trimestrales y anuales
• Relación con entidades financieras, así como con otros asesores externos (auditores y asesor fiscal)
• Control presupuestario: realizar los presupuestos tanto de inversión como operativos con la periodicidad necesaria para la toma de decisiones del negocio
• Tesorería: gestionar el circulante (liquidez, cobros y pagos, deuda a corto)
• Relación con los bancos: Gestionar y disponer de los recursos financieros necesarios para alcanzar los objetivos generales, optimizando su rendimiento, a través de la negociación con bancos y entidades financieras
  
  

• Formación en Empresariales, Económicas, Dirección de Empresas o similar
• Experiencia demostrable de más de 5 años como Director Financiero en entornos industriales
  
  

• Máster en Dirección Financiera, Finanzas Corporativas, MBA o formación de postgrado relacionada con contabilidad, auditoría o gestión financiera.

Job Description:
• Participation in projects for software development using Agile techniques.
• Supporting the product owner with decision making, serving as the ´bridge´ between developers and product stakeholders.
• Analysing and helping to translate business needs into user stories and drawing processes.
• Foresee customer journeys and business processes, anticipating requirements and uncovering areas for improvement.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Update products´ functional documentation and explain new concepts to non-technical users.
• Testing responsibilities: support the SDET in the testing scenario generation and testing data/files creation plus lead the UAT (define & perform the user acceptance testing as well as report bugs and testing results).
• Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members.

EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- 1-2 years of experience using the required technologies and tools.
Nice to have:
- Experience in TDD/BDD practices.

EDUCATION
Certificate of Higher Education/University Degree/Master. Technical background would be a plus.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
• Agile Methodologies.
• User level knowledge JIRA, ALM (Application Life-cycle Management) and Microsoft Teams tools.
• Highly fluent in English: both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and Oriented to results.
• Good change management.
• Spanish would be a plus.
• Supply chain finance products (e.g., Confirming) would be a plus.
• Payment methods and accounting knowledge would be a plus.
