Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Java backend services to support healthcare registration and scheduling systems
- Optimize microservices for seamless integration, high availability, and fault tolerance
- Leverage AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2) to build and deploy cloud-native applications with a focus on scalability and performance
- Integrate cloud databases, third-party services, and APIs to ensure a unified experience for users
- Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables
- Monitor and enhance application performance across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices using AWS tools
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Stay current with the latest trends in Java, AWS, and healthcare technology, driving innovation
- Ensure the solution complies with industry security standards and regulations (e.g.
, HIPAA)
- Maintain clear documentation and provide regular project updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experiencein Java with expertise in backend development and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and service-oriented architecture
- Experience working with AWS cloud technologies (AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and Spring Data for Java development
- Experience working with cloud databases (NoSQL and SQL) and knowledge of integrating them into cloud-native systems
- Solid background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards such as HL7 or FHIR
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and best practices
- Understanding healthcare applications, especially related to patient administration, registration, or similar healthcare workflows

Buscamos un/a Programador/a Java con al menos 2 años de experiencia para incorporarse a un proyecto enfocado en soluciones de autoservicio (cajeros y aplicativos locales). El/la candidato/a será responsable de programar, diseñar y realizar pruebas de software, contribuyendo al desarrollo y mantenimiento de sistemas críticos en un entorno dinámico y colaborativo.
Responsabilidades
Desarrollo de aplicaciones en Java, asegurando el cumplimiento de los requisitos técnicos.Diseño técnico de soluciones para proyectos de autoservicio.Realización de pruebas unitarias e integradas de los programas.Documentación de procesos y resultados para garantizar la trazabilidad del desarrollo.Resolución de incidencias y optimización de los sistemas existentes.
Requisitos
Experiencia mínima de 3 años en desarrollo y análisis técnico con Java.Conocimiento en diseño técnico de aplicaciones y ejecución de pruebas.Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y proactividad para la resolución de problemas.Residencia en Ronda, Málaga o disponibilidad total para trabajar de forma presencial en esta ubicación (requisito obligatorio).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Java Developer, you will be part of the team that develops, maintains an evolves an in-house IAM Software that helps managing the Authorization of several other applications used both by employees and SCIB Clients. You will be both developing new software and new infrastructure as well as maintaining the existing one and assisting on the configuration of the engine needed to service every app.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Design and Develop new functionalities for the Authorization Engine.
- Deploy, Manage and Maintain the core software and its infrastructure.
- Explore, Design and develop new pieces of software that connect our IAM Authorization Software to new technologies.
- Configure the Authorization Model designed to manage the applications onboarded in our Software.
- Assist the "Integration & Discovery" teams during the design of the Authorization Model.
- Help complying with Audit and SCIB´s internal security requirements.
- Assist during stress tests, Disaster Recoveries and other test.
EXPERIENCE
- 2- years of experience in development teams.
EDUCATION
- Graduate/Licentiate/Master in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar education.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Experience in development teams using Java (microservices architecture, APIs), Spring Boot, Maven, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Stream, Javascript, SQL & Oracle databases, Framework testing (Postman).
- Continuous Integration Experience: Github, Jenkins.
- APIs knowledge (REST & Open API, software design patterns).
- Cloud Computing Infrastructure Knowledge (PaaS, Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Agile Tools Experience: Kanban, Jira, Confluence.
- B2 English and fluency Spanish.
OTHER INFORMATION
Other knowledge in cybersecurity will be valued:
