As a Full-stack Software Engineer, your mission will be to interpret the solutions provided and transcribe them to the programming languages and parameters required to generate the technical components integrated into the solutions designed.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

- Detail required functionalities, develop the services and operations that form the application and/or integrate these solutions with other components of other applications.
- Draw up all the technical documentation required in accordance with the Group’s Development Policies and the stipulations of the solution design.
- Certify the software produced and the integration of its components with others or third parties, carrying out the certification cycles defined in the testing strategy.
- Package solutions for the correct deployment of software in the different work environments or collaborate with DevOps.
- Identify training, upskilling, or re-profiling needs required to maintain technical competencies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· +6 years’ experience as a Full Stack developer, with at least 5 of them in Python and ideally over Agile methodologies.
· 2 years’ experience in Azure DataBricks.
· Processes automation/programming languages (Python, Node.js, Java).
· Experience carrying out version upgrades.
· CI/CD tools (GitActions, Sonar, Fortify, Jira, Confluence…).
· System integration (technical abilities in hardware, networking, middleware, database, and applications).

Job Description

What would you be doing?

Our client, one of Spain´s leading banks, is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join its dynamic technology team. We seek a highly motivated professional with expertise in Spark, Scala, and Spring Boot, along with knowledge of Angular or React. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and optimization of robust banking solutions within a microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Spark and Scala.
- Implement and optimize Spring Boot applications.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration with Angular/React applications.
- Work within a microservices architecture, ensuring modular and high-performance solutions.
- Ensure code quality and security by utilizing tools like Sonar and Fortify, and resolving detected vulnerabilities.
- Implement unit tests using JUnit, Jasmine, or Karma to maintain high code reliability.
- Participate actively in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) to ensure efficient development cycles.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

- 2+ years of experience as a backend developer.
- Strong proficiency in Spark and Scala.
- Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Sonar and/or Fortify for code analysis and security issue resolution.
- Hands-on experience in writing and executing unit tests (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
