About The Role

Our team is seeking a Product Design Intern to help shape the Samples product, a key operational tool that helps brands to track and manage their physical assets efficiently. You will work alongside experienced designers, product managers and developers to craft intuitive, user-centered solutions.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead the design process from research to delivery, with guidance and mentorship from experienced designers. You will work closely with Product Managers and Developers to translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, impactful design solutions.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive, user-focused designer who wants to gain hands-on experience working on a product that has been adopted by top brands around the world. Additionally, there is potential for this internship to evolve into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities Include

• Take ownership of the design process for features within the Samples product, from user research through delivery, with mentorship and support from experienced designers.
• Collaborating with PMs, Developers and stakeholders to refine the product experience and identify opportunities.
• Conduct User Research, including interviews, usability tests, surveys, usage analysis to make and support design decisions.
• Produce deliverables such as wireframes, high-fidelity screens, prototypes, user flows to showcase solution proposals at every step
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are correctly translated into the final product.
• Learn to run analysis on user behavior through tools like FullStory and Metabase to measure the success of design work.
• Participate in design critiques and knowledge-sharing sessions with the rest of the Product Design team.
• Have a hand in maintaining and contributing to the Launchmetrics Design System.
  
  

• You are pursuing a degree in Digital Product Design, HCI, User Experience design or a related field.
• Have a strong foundation of visual and/or interaction design skills.
• Some experience working on projects that show good product thinking and design execution.
• You have a self-starter mindset and are excited to take ownership of design challenges while being open to guidance and mentorship.
• You are extremely detail-oriented and organized in both design and workflow.
• You are fluent in English and have the ability to express ideas clearly whether verbally, written, or through prototyping and design.
  
  

• Fluent in French and can confidently participate in customer meetings with French speakers.
• You have experience working in the Fashion, Lifestyle, or Beauty (FLB) industry.
• You have expertise in motion design or illustration and can add that extra touch of magic to your designs.
• You can write front-end code, to help bring your designs to life and collaborate more effectively with developers.
