Job Description
An opportunity for a Customer Inspection Manager in LTA Flight Line has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, San Pablo (Sevilla).
Responsabilities
- Ensure implementation of Quality System, Customer Quality Plans, in addition to applying the company's Quality and Management policies.
- Involvement in the Delivery of aircraft between stations, and to Flight line when required, with the required levels of Quality, within Cost (Quality and Non-Quality) and Deadline objectives.
- Will be responsible for presenting the aircraft to the customer during the delivery process, identify NC that the aircraft present and are evidenced and will lead and give response of these points to the customer in a timely manner.
- Elaboration and management of Memorandums in transfers of POA (Production) to DOA (Design) aircraft, and participate in the transfer meetings on behalf of the Quality function.
- Participate representing FAL Quality in Program, Production, Subcontracting and Subcontractor reviews.
- Interface with Civilian or Military Authorities, when required, coordinating all matters related to Quality of the stations of his responsibility.
- Acceptance as Quality of the area, of the deliverables coming from the suppliers, assuring that these arrive with the required Quality levels.
- Performing reception inspection and control of pending works from Subcontractors/Suppliers.
We're seeking dynamic candidates with a Degree in Engineering (aerospace engineering preferred), experience in Quality/Inspection topics. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Familiarize and help with the organization and processes for new launches
- Assist the Safety New Build Manager and the Safety Engineer in delivering safety excellent processes and operations
- Support safety process systems through participation in planned inspections of buildings, machines and jobs for accident prevention
- Perform and update Risk Assessments and Job Hazard Analyses
- Analyse accident data and develop standards to ensure prevention of accidents
- Supporting investigations linked to accidents and prepare accident reports to identify preventive safety measures for incorporation into the safety program
- Help to develop safety procedures and implement training programs to meet the needs of Managers and Associates in regards to critical safety issues
- Potential relocation to the designated work location
