FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES

Desarrollo de Modelos de Aprendizaje por Refuerzo:

• Diseñar y desarrollar modelos avanzados de RL utilizando bibliotecas especializadas como Stable-Baselines3, Ray RLlib, PyTorch o TensorFlow.
• Implementar algoritmos de RL como Q-Learning, PPO, SAC, y enfoques de frontera como Deep Q-Networks (DQN) y Model-Based RL para optimizar la toma de decisiones en entornos de tráfico aéreo.

Diseño e Implementación de Entornos Personalizados:

• Crear y personalizar entornos de simulación utilizando herramientas como Gymnasium o simuladores específicos para probar y validar los modelos de RL.
• Desarrollar entornos que reflejen las complejidades y dinámicas del tráfico aéreo para asegurar la efectividad de los modelos.

Optimización y Diseño de Recompensas:

• Diseñar sistemas de recompensas que incentiven comportamientos óptimos en los modelos de RL.

Aplicación de Multi-Agent RL (MARL):

A day in the life

Invoice By Amazon (IBA) provides a single supplier invoice product as the default experience for all Amazon Business (AB) customers in Europe and India with upcoming expansion in JP and MX. As more and more customers adopt the IBA experience, we face increasingly complex architectural challenges. We are currently directing our efforts towards scaling our systems and reducing parity gaps in order to provide a seamless experience for all our customers. With our product rapidly expanding, our long term vision is to continue providing new features that facilitate the procurement process for all our business customers around the world.

We are looking for self-motivated full stack software engineers that are enthusiastic about learning how complex systems work and producing innovative solutions to our current architectural challenges.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of ordering, accounting and payments technical platforms.
• Design and modify scalable software architecture of full stack systems.
• Work independently to deliver and maintain medium sized features.
• Apply software engineering best practices to the development life cycle (incremental delivery, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, operations...).
• Engage in continuous prioritization efforts to balance out fast paced business requirements with long term technical investments.
  
  

A Day In The Life

• Supporting teammates through collaboration and mentoring.
• Shipping and reviewing Java and AWS CDK code for new features on IBA and other Amazon systems.
• Driving improvements on team-level code quality, process efficiency and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshooting a wide variety of customer issues all across AB ordering domain.
• Focusing on Operational Excellence (development processes, monitoring, code deployment, automated testing, dashboarding...).
• Work with partner teams to enable key IBA behaviors on their platforms.
  
  

About The Team

IBA team has 3 two-pizza teams in Madrid. Ownership spaces are wide range, from Customer Experience, Notifications, Flash sale, Monitoring, to Compliance, Accounting and Payments.

To provide a seamless experience for our customers, we own spaces and features across all Amazon.

Due to the synergies of IBA, engineers in our team work regularly with the owners of foundational platforms across ordering, accounting and payments lifecycle. This poses a great challenge in terms of cooperating with stakeholders from very diverse domains, but comes with equally great opportunities to have a big impact, grow and innovate.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
