PROJECT MANAGER IN LOGISTICS (M/F) - (Ingeniero de Proyectos Industriales y Logísticos)

In the following Transfer & Implementation phase, you will report to the Head of Engineering Europe-South Area and working in close collaboration with local Operational Management. You will develop and manage the local Engineering team.

Purpose:

We are in a new HUB construction phase, building and implementing layout and overall infrastructure.

The deliverables are:

• Management and coordination of external suppliers works (energies, storage means such as automated warehouse, racks, shelves, …, Logistics means (workstations, …))
• Ensure synchronization of all stakeholders in relation with planning and budget
• Manage acceptance of works
• Respect of legal and safety obligations
• Stock and activities transfer coordination from other plants (France & Germany)
• Support Ramp-up activities linked to transfer planning (stabilization)

AFTER TRANSFORMATION PHASE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERING:

• Lead engineering tasks in Albacete, by identifying and managing all improvement actions
• Define engineering roadmap, planning and deliverables to be on target (material and information flow for the plant)
• Management of engineering team
• Ensure technical consistency for customer offers
• Analyze logistics activities performance (cost, service, lead time, associated KPIs…)
• Analyze / adapt/ optimize warehouses processes according to aeronautical regulations
• Ensure relationship with other engineering teams (France and Germany)
• Responsible to enhance benchmarks with all European logistics centers

YOU BRING WITH YOU:

• A completed vocational training related to logistics, warehousing and transportation (+3 years)
• A proven track record in project management
• Excellent skills on SAP/EWM (or a comparable warehouse management system) and confirmed Excel knowledge
• Confirmed experience on Lean, Lay-out analysis (VSM, 5S, Kaizen…)
• Competence in problem solving and the motivation to constantly improve processes
• Autonomous and good team-player
• Analytical, safety and customer-oriented way of working

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Engineering Degree and confirmed experiences, aeronautical background will be appreciated
• Excellent language skills in Spanish and English, French will be a plus
• Personal abilities to be open and communicative
• Job is on site - Albacete
