The incorporation of the selected person would be made to the Electrical Storage department of the research center.

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:

- Management of corrosion and aging battery projects
- Management of cycling and SoH modelling projects
- Management of electrochemical modelling projects
- Dissemination of results
- Laboratory management support

To be evaluated (adds points to the final evaluation)
- Experience as Principal Investigator in regional project/ nationals/ Europeans or direct contracting
- Experience as director/a of doctoral/PhD theses
- Experience leading students grade/master projects or equivalent projects of students
- Experience as first author in at least three scientific articles
- Valuable knowledge of non-destructive techniques or potentiostatic techniques
- Valuable knowledge of battery state of health
- Other languages, excluding mother tongue, can be valued
- Valuable to have obtained Torres Quevedo, Juan de la Cierva, Ramón y Cajal, MarieCurie or equivalent competitive competition research contracts
- Time of stays in different centres of realization of the Doctoral Thesis

Requisitos
The selected person is required to have:
- Doctorate in one of the following disciplines: Dr. Chemical Engineering /Dr. Chemical Sciences / Dr. Industrial Engineering or equivalent

Assessable master's degree in:
- Master's degree in electrochemistry or similar
- Master's degree in materials corrosion
- Master in material simulation

Professional Experience:
- Projects related with corrosion and property loss of energy storage systems, or battery cycling or battery life estimation or battery modelling minimum 2 years
- Participation in at least 4 European projects (H2020, FP7, etc.) or equivalent or equivalent private enterprise experience

Knowledge of specific techniques:
- AAS, ICP, DRX, DMA, TGA, DSC, TMA, SEM.

Participation and/or collaboration in R&D&I/business projects:
- Minimum participation in 2 European, national or equivalent projects

Experience in a Research Center/Companies:
- Yes. Minimum stay of 1 year (in total)

Languages:
- Excellent oral and written skills in English

Cross-cutting competences:
- Teamwork
- Communication skills

Willingness to travel and stay abroad
- Yes

Publications: scientific articles (in journals indexed in Web of Science and/or Scopus), theses (PhD and/or master's degree), presentations at congresses, reports, technical reports, technical guides, etc.
- Minimum 10 published articles
- Minimum participation in 5 congresses
