WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Junior Cloud Engineer, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation and continuous evolution of the platforms that supports the Business line.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Collaborate in design of moderately complex software applications or components applying agreed standards, patterns and tools.
- Produces specifications of cloud-based components, tiers and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products, mainly in AWS Cloud.
- Contributes towards technical requirements of all the products/features in our domain.
- Disposition to do what it takes to ensure the team accomplishes its goals.
EXPERIENCE
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Technical Application/Cloud Architecture.
- Fluent in English and desirable in Spanish.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor´s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of architecture, design and integrate Cloud components/services.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Container knowledge: Kubernetes/Openshift, Docker
- Background in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Software Development, Systems Design, Infrastructure Architecture.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
Desirable:
- AWS Architect or Developer certification is a plus.
- Experience with database management systems
- Understanding in network, asynchronous, concurrent/reactive programming and distributed systems.
- Experience in event sourcing technologies such as Kafka is a plus.
- Experience with Agile Development style and tools such JIRA, Confluence.

Your key responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will work on the design of end-to-end pipelines for enterprise data loading from different sources, deployment of ML/IA solutions for predictive analysis and improvements on quality of data.
You will also collaborate with the product development teams (business analysts, product owners, developers) to deliver high quality solutions for our customers.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Degree on Statistics, Maths, Informatics or similar.
