We are looking for a candidate to design and validate software strategies and functions for the Engine Control Module (ECM) or Hybrid Electrical Vehicle Control (hEVC). This role includes developing diagnostics and failure operation modes.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver SW Specifications: Ensure software specifications are delivered according to the project planning, meeting all deadlines and project milestones.
  • Design SW Algorithms: Create and design software algorithms tailored to the specific needs and requirements of the project.
  • Write Validation Plans: Develop comprehensive validation plans, covering both functional and dysfunctional aspects to ensure robust software performance.
  • MIL Validation: Conduct Model In Loop (MIL) validation, deliver detailed test cases, and compile thorough validation reports to ensure software reliability.
  • Documentation for SW Tuning: Provide extensive documentation for software tuning teams, including writing calibration methods, supplying pre-calibration datasets, and developing methodologies for calibration porting.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports to inform clients about software developments, including regular updates on the progress and status of software projects.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience at least 3 years.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the engineering field, preferably in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or Electronics.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in embedded software architecture, design and validation methods for embedded software, and Model-Based Design (MBD) with Matlab-Simulink.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and a high level of technical writing quality. French is a plus.
