About the Role


As a Tertiary Team leader your purpose will be responsible for you for ensuring line efficiencies, personal utilisation, quality and safety in our site in Sagunto. The job holder will report to the Production Manager Sagunto and cooperate with the rest of Production Team Leaders as well as with the management team. He/she will manage a team of around 80 people in two levels.


In this position, the manager will be responsible for:


  • Lead and develop the team under your supervision, identifying potential and fostering growth among team members, including Process Improvers, Supervisors, line coordinators, and others.
  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly production targets are met whilst quality and EHS standard are respected.
  • Ensure the system contains accurate information for precise reporting of plant status.
  • Coordinate production tests, production changes, and line improvements.
  • Provide solutions to high-level issues within the facilities.
  • Collaborate with your team (SLs, PIs, Supervisors) to resolve problems within your area of responsibility.
  • Work with MICs, SLs, PIs, and other plant personnel on special projects related to your area of responsibility.
  • Perform any other duties and tasks in line with the responsibilities of the position.


Requirements


  • A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is often required. Advanced degrees or certifications in management or automotive engineering are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, quality control, and production planning. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Training in continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and other process optimization techniques.
  • Used to work in a multicultural, future-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in English (Oral and written) and Spanish.
  • Business acumen, basic financial knowledge.
