Job Description

We are looking for a Tech Leader with strong experience in microservices architectures and big data solutions to join the CDAIO Tech & Engineer team.

The Tech Leader will act as the technical reference, driving architectural evolution across both application and Big Data ecosystems, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business and data governance needs. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategic vision with strong execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical leader and point of reference for the Datatooling platform.
- Define, evolve and govern the microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Own key technical decisions, ensuring scalability, security and maintainability.
- Lead the integration and optimal use of ElasticSearch, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
- Drive the design and evolution of data processing solutions using Spark and Databricks.
- Oversee orchestration and scheduling of data workflows using Airflow and Control-M.
- Ensure alignment between application services and Big Data platforms.
- Define and enforce technical standards, best practices and architectural principles.
- Mentor team members and promote technical excellence.
- Collaborate with architects, data engineers and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify technical risks and define mitigation plans.

Qualifications

Required Technical Skills
- Proven experience as a Tech Leader or Senior Technical role in microservices-based architectures.
- Strong expertise in REST API design and governance.
- Hands-on experience with:

- Solid experience in Big Data technologies, including:
- Apache Spark

Scientific Communication Manager - Job Description

Scientific Communication Manager (SCM) is the leader of the Project Team. SCM’s responsibilities include communication with clients, medical stakeholders’ management as a scientific expert for HCPs, Public Health representatives, medical societies, academia, and other relevant organizations. In addition, SCM is responsible for establishing a highly reliable, long-term relationship with KOLs and clients, promoting and leading various non-promotional medical events (e.g., steering committee, medical summit, consensus paper, advisory boards, continuous medical education, round-table meetings, workshops etc.) and maintaining peer-to-peer communication with all external medical stakeholders and internally with the rest of the Project Team. These scientific exchanges will support and/or expand current therapeutic concepts and ensure the safe and productive advancement of the Clients product(s).

Scientific Communication Manager – Qualification

• Excellent scientific background - An advanced degree required/expected (PhD, MD or PharmD)
• High-agile, skilled, and motivated professional capable of working in a fastpaced, multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team
• Demonstrated project management ability and solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
• Accountability
• Ability to achieve measurable results in a defined timeline
• Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
• Ability to build/establish scientific collaboration with Clients, HCPs, Key Opinion Leaders, and Professional Medical Societies
• Capability to deliver quality medical information and communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project

Scientific Communication Manager – Job Responsibility

• Monitor assigned projects and manage own workload, taking ownership and anticipating capacity issues/bottlenecks and potential solutions.
• Attend and coordinate medical events providing guidance, education and training
• Identify, map, develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with KOLs, Professional Societies and Patients Groups at the regional and international levels
• Serve as the scientific bridge and first point of contact between KOLs and clients
• Provide the KOLs and clients staff relevant, compliant, and consistent medical and scientific support in all communications

Description du poste

SBS develops and implements technological solutions in medium-sized and large financial institutions, using its standard platforms, which it adapts to the needs of its clients.

The team the candidate will join is part of the Payments & Cards division. The projects are located internationally, at headquarters in France and Madrid/Valencia, with the candidate based in the Madrid center.

After an initial onboarding period, with an introduction to the technical and functional environment and processes, the employee will be accompanied by an experienced project mentor in their daily tasks with the aim of achieving technical and functional autonomy.

Their main activity will be the development of upgrades, whether internal or external to our clients, as well as participating in the preparation of deliveries for clients, providing technical support to clients, and performing corrective maintenance tasks on product versions.

Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 3 to 6 years) in developing applications with Java technology.
- Experience/knowledge of GIT/GitLab, Maven, JDK17+/Jakarta EE10, Spring and API Rest
- Intermediate knowledge of developing web applications through MVC deployed on a JBoss server.
- Intermediate knowledge of PostgreSQL v16+ (queries and objects, not administrator)
- English B2+ needed.
- Experience in Docker
- Knowledge of performance measuring tools
- Knowledge of security tools (Checkmarx for example)
- Ability to participate in external/internal technical meetings and providing support to customers.
- Starter level in French or interest in learning French (could be improved by training later on)

Compensation varies by location and expected impact, and grows rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. For individuals who demonstrate exceptional capability, we may offer compensation that extends beyond the usual ranges to reflect their higher expected impact. If you're offered a permanent contract, you'll also be able receive some of your pay in company equity at a discounted price, thus participating in the value creation we achieve together. If relocating to Italy, you may enjoy a 50% tax cut.
