The Procurement Center of Excellence Manager is a Global role within the Procurement CoE at Altadia Group. The Procurement CoE is Altadia’s Excellence Organization specialized in fostering best practices, roll-out groupwide initiatives, drive continuous improvement, assume business process ownership to coordinate management of spend across the organization and develop functional knowledge with a clear business performance and value focus.
This role supports the CoE Procurement Manager in driving key initiatives –helping in bringing a future procurement vision to life.
This role is based in Altadia´s headquarters with 20-30% travel expected to international sites.
4 Key areas of support;
Procurement Excellence
- Definition, implementation and ownership of policies, processes and conventions across the group in close collaboration with Procurement Technology & Digital enablers and other stakehodlers
- Responsible for specific deep category knowledge (category playbooks, methodologies, templates) for Directs & Indirects
- Coordination of the procurement Strategy through a detailed Yearly Plan by Category
- Communication of the Procurement Strategy (Globally and by Category)
- Supporting with Change Management, Communication, Cultural Change and Organizational aspects
- Reinforcing compliance and transparency, working alongside Internal Audit to reinforce P2P processes (E.g. Contract Compliance, 2-3-way-match, No PO No Pay, P-Cards, buying channels adoption, etc. are being followed)
- Supporting on Contract Management (from a content and process perspective), leveraging the technology team for the technical aspects
- Support Heads of Directs & Indirects in any Operating Model related topics
Management of the Procurement Training Academy
- Define and Execute the Yearly Training Program for the procurement function
- Continuously identify new needs and methods and roll them out in the Procurement Organization
Lead and coordinate initiatives about Supplier Relationship (SRM), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
- Define & develop SRM & Third-Party Risk Management frameworks and methodologies (incl. ESG)
Supporting in the execution of Special Procurement Projects, such as;
- Support in the Separation / Integration of newly acquired businesses (Procurement function)
- Conducting Synergy assessments (Procurement upsides from potential acquisitions)
- Driving Cost Optimization Assessments and executing focused optimization efforts
- Any other ad-hoc initiatives
TEAM MANAGEMENT
The CoE Procurement Analyst doesn´t have direct reports but will be required to effectively manage multiple stakeholders Globally.
GLOBAL REACH
The Global Indirect Spend and Center of Excellence unit is truly a function with global reach and positioning the capabilities and impact of this team across all sites at Altadia will be paramount. Maintaining a strong link between Regional (EMEA, Americas and Asia) teams will be critical to unlock Procurement value.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Progressive career track within Procurement at an International Company (ideally with Worldwide operations) +5 years
- Experience in sourcing & Procurement transformation programs
- Knowledge / Experience of the Industrial Goods, Chemical, and/or Manufacturing Industries preferable
- Experience in a Procurement practice of top consulting firms highly desirable
- Exposure to managing multiple stakeholders
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
