As the connector between WFS Central Teams and the business, the Business Manager will be accountable for the success of Tier 1 associate hiring at country and business line level, owning tactical and strategic initiatives to deliver our goals. You will partner with senior stakeholders from Operations, PxT, Planning and Finance, and WFS Central Teams and staffing agencies to deliver candidate centric solutions to meet capacity demand in the most cost-effective way.
Key job responsibilities
- Partnering with, advising and influencing stakeholders using functional expertise, to optimise labour plans and hiring outlook to achieve cost and capacity goals.
- Have oversight of Labor Order verification and alignment/adjustment, including Labor Order changes, working with both Business and Central Teams POCs, to ensure process compliance at regional and site level
- Using strategic hiring risk management insights, updating stakeholders on current labour supply versus demand. Highlighting short, medium and long term risk to Day One Starts (D1S) Fill Rate, and providing mitigation and recommendations.
- Leading cross-business line WFS strategic initiatives, with awareness of both the business’ and WFS Central Teams’ strategic considerations, focusing on improved hiring outcomes, and optimising for cost.
- Contributing to short, medium and long term planning, including labour planning and event readiness.
- Consulting and aligning with WFS Central Teams to optimise ways of working, designing robust mechanisms and effective processes.
- Holding WFS Central Teams to account for defined outputs, measuring effectiveness of content and delivery as their primary customer.
- Leveraging WFS Central Teams for the provision of data, insights and risk mitigation to inform business decisions.
- Owning Prime and Peak readiness strategies, documents and business-facing Lessons Learned at the appropriate level.
- Representing WFS in cross functional strategic programs at country and/or Regional level.
- A Bachelor’s degree preferably in an HR related field
- Management experience in volume staffing, capacity planning and hiring processes.
- Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems
- Fluent command of Spanish and English, in both written and verbal form
- Advanced knowledge of local labor law
- Ability to use analytical and experiential data for decision making
- Influencing skills
- Knowledge and understanding of internal and external metrics, drivers and focus areas for the business and organisation.
- Comfortable using data and evidence to convey ideas and recommendations on complex topics that scale across regions.
- Adaptable and flexible to respond to the changing needs of the business while maintaining velocity
- An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
- Comfortable with high volume workload.
