Roles and Responsibilities
- Supports Head of Strategy, Power Segment and other senior leaders including calendar/diary management, logistics, expenses, and other administrative work.
- Compiles materials to prepare for meetings with and/or to present to external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal thought leaders to assemble relevant materials/insights.
- Provides support for prompt action/response of inbox email items.
- Coordinates with communications team on matters relative to executive's messaging/voice.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues. Explains information; Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
- Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in Executive or Administrative Assistant position.
- MS Office Application Suite working knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in T&L expenses management.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, any additional language is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration mindset.
- Ability to multitask and capacity to work well remotely.
- Proactive. Manages time and tasks effectively.

Job Overview
The Executive Assistant, will report directly to the Spanish Country Manager and in her role of Executive Assistant will perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day department operations in such areas as scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, taking and distributing meeting minutes, copying, screening mail, ordering supplies, and maintaining department records.
Major Accountabilities
- Have a good understanding of the business requirements and needs to support the Spanish Country Manager
- Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day department operations as phone coverage, scheduling meetings, completing travel arrangements, expense reporting, maintaining management calendar, taking and distributing meeting minutes, generating copies, screening mail, filing, ordering supplies and maintaining department records
- Prepare correspondence, memorandum, reports, presentations or other assigned documentation in specified software package
- Assist in preparing and maintaining departmental budget
- Administer programs, projects or processes specific to the operating unit served and maintains spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
- May research special topics as assigned
- Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company
- Develop and produce reports as assigned
- May monitor and coordinate work of other employees or temporaries.
- Support the Crisis Commanders and the local Office Response Team (ORT)
- Support all local topics related to Health and Safety
- Support when needed with organisation of team and leadership Meetings, pulling together agendas, and business presentation
- Work closely with Marketing & Communication teams relating to events, forums, hospitality etc
- Manage interaction with Mastercard Law enforcement support teams regarding police attestations demanding cardholder data
- Attend and manage all related interaction with Spanish government institutions regarding traffic fines to corporate cars, general payment enquiries, etc
- Degree
- Fluent in English

- Knowledge of the payment industry will be considered a strong plus
- Knowledge of department budgets and desk top computer software
