Accountabilities
As a Test Engineering Leader, you will:
- Be responsible for test delivery of two products, partnering with contract test team leadership.
- Own testing for all product releases, preparing testing artifacts and reports.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering leaders and Delivery managers for smooth releases.
- Coordinate with internal employees and external contractors across multiple locations.
- Provide tailored, high-quality, operationally sustainable solutions.
- Build and implement testing strategy (manual and automated) in collaboration with engineering leaders.
- Own testing for the products, including test plan, test metrics, and release ownership.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Drive down manual testing for the products.
- Document testing and quality processes.
- Champion an engineering testing mindset.
- Coach and mentor team members as needed.
- Write and run actual test cases when necessary.
- Lead by doing, including writing scripts as needed.
Essential Skills/Experience
We consider individuals in this role to be our top tier Test Engineers. A top tier test engineer is capable of working in multiple spaces and is likely to be the most experienced and skilled test engineer on the team to begin with. Learning new technology is part of that. However, you must have deep technical skills.
- Experience leading different technology areas into a product technology roadmap.
- Previous hands-on testing experience.
- Expertise designing test architecture, selecting appropriate tools, and creating test strategy.
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and automation.
- Expertise with automated test frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python.
- Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase.
- Experience with data validation testing.
- Experience with Rest API and general API testing.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks.
- Experience with process tools like JIRA, Confluence.
- Experience with creating test reports and other auditable documentation.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent degree is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Being an SRE in VeepeeTech means to be a part of the transversal SRE community and at the same time integrate one of the agile product teams. You will ensure the system´s reliability and scalability by applying DevOps practices and share knowledge within the SRE community.
TASKS
- Implementing tools and processes for deployment and industrialization (CI/CD, blue/green, canary, rollback, etc.);
- Automating provisioning of a resilient infrastructure that meets the needs of products;
- Working with development teams to facilitate regular releases;
- Maintaining services in operational conditions, analyze and resolve performance and scalability anomalies (load tests) of current and historical deployments;
- Supervising the application portfolio in collaboration with the Network Operations Center (NOC), manage access and security;
- Participating in the evolution of the IS (VMware migration to KVM and service offer) and the reduction of the technical debt;
- Being the evangelist of DevOps´ good practices and participate in the construction of a true transversal SRE community within Veepee.
MUST HAVE skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar function;
- Knowledge of industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow flow and DevOps practices in general and understanding of a system side;
- Familiar with Linux (good knowledge), knowledge of Windows would be a plus;
- Proficiency with IaC: Packer, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet;
- SUP: Icinga, ELK, Prometheus;
- Hands on with Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad;
- Proficiency with different types of DB such as, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch;
- You have strong verbal and written English language skills.
NICE TO HAVE skills
- Knowledge of languages such as .Net, Python or Go would be a plus;
- Production experience on physical infrastructure would be a plus with tools such Kafka, Cassandra;

What You´ll Do
- Develop and enhance our infrastructure using AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and ArgoCD.
- Manage container orchestration platforms, such as AWS EKS and AWS ECS, and operate a cross-cluster Istio service mesh and API Gateway
- Monitor, upgrade, and automate systems to guarantee stability, security, and high performance using tools like Datadog, Opsgenie, and AI.
- Manage and deploy critical infrastructure components, including hybrid cloud (AWS Site-to-Site VPN, DirectConnect, Transit Gateway) and cloud-to-cloud (AWS PrivateLink) connections, ensuring seamless integration with cloud-based systems.
- Implement scalable solutions for complex technical challenges.
Who You Are
- Solid experience in AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, KMS, etc.).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, with some experience in ArgoCD.
- Strong experience in deploying and managing critical cloud infrastructure components.
