What Will You Do
- You will be responsible for proposing and developing new models, measuring the performance and improving our algorithms. Our ML Engineer role combines the classic "ML Scientist" and "Data Engineer" role at other companies
- You will also play an analytical role researching, designing, implementing, and deploying full-stack scalable data analytics and machine learning solutions to challenge business issues, as well as working closely with our Tech and Ops team
- You will work on unique modeling challenges not covered in the scientific literature, like extreme positive sample sparsity and labeling delay.
- Analyse data from different sources and provide actionable insights to business and engineering stakeholders
What You Need To Have
- Knowledge of Bitbucket/Git version tools
- Experience in machine learning and predictive modelling: deep neural networks, logistic regression, clustering and time series analysis & auto-regressive models
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical significance tests)
- Experience working with SQL and data warehousing
- Problem solving oriented mentality and a very proactive approach
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and sense of accountability
- Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task in a results-oriented business environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in building high-performance algorithms in production
- Experience with transformer architectures and LLMs.

Qualifications

- Ability to fluidly communicate in an English business environment
- PhD or master's degree that reflects computer science/engineering and statistical/mathematical skills and 4+ years of experience
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python and the respective Machine Learning ecosystem
- Solid computer science/engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, computability and complexity and computer architecture, software design principles and patterns and testing strategies
- Solid expertise in distributed computing in the cloud, dealing with enormous amounts of data and distributed computations
- Knowledge of Math, Statistics and Machine Learning (e.g., statistical tests, classification, predictive modelling, handling of missing data, sampling, weighting)
- Working experience with agile development practices is a plus

The Online Tribe at Deutsche Bank Private Bank Germany is responsible for the digital customer access channels and services offered by Deutsche Bank and Postbank. Tasks/Aufgabenbeschreibung
- As Site Reliability Engineer you contribute to the overarching implementation and operation of Deutsche Bank’s Online Banking platform in the Google Cloud, with hands-on support of the Investments feature squads, based on the paradigm "you built it you run it" with focus on various digital investments processes.
- Utilize your experience, technical knowledge and DevOps mindset in driving platform optimization and preventive measures.
- Through Automation, CI/CD and application monitoring, ensure scaleability, availability and performance of the application.
- Prevent problems proactively through countinous monitoring of overall system health, and identify portential weak points of the architecture and infrastructure. Actively support incident analysis in case of any production irregularities through investigating possible root causes and suggesting solutions
- Through collboration with the squad’s Product Owner and engineers help to identifiy the priority measures, define SLIs & SLOs, and ceate effective strategies for maintaining and improving system performance and availability.
- Support Release deployments and iteratively enhance current deplyoment procedures and pipelines.
- Act as a multiplicator for Site Reliability Engineering and Cloud-Knowhow in the SRE chapter, setting best pracices.
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with applications run cloud ecosystems such as Google Cloud as well as with Docker / Kubernetes in combination with with GKE or similar technology, automation and CI/CD, Terraform/Terragrunt, Terraform Enterprise, Ansible and Github.
- Advandced experience in monitoring for instance with OpsGenie, New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, Google Operations-Suite.
- Very good knowledge of security standards (e.g.: TLS, OAuth2, KMS, Vault, Admission Controllers, let's encrypt), microservice architectures and experience with API Management with Apigee or WSO2.
- Experience in software development in JAVA and/or JavaScript und in using tools such as TeamCity, BitBucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, VeraCode, Crucible, JIRA, Confluence or Service Now.
- Proactive attitude and collaborative Team player mindset paired with self confidence.
- Not loosing your cool and keep your eye for details even in stressful situations where time matters.

• Gestionar arquitecturas contenerizadas y serverless en AWS.
• Monitorizar, auditar y asegurar la infraestructura empleando herramientas como Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana y PagerDuty.
Requisitos imprescindibles:
• Nivel de inglés avanzado (comunicación fluida con equipos internacionales).
• Amplia experiencia en ingeniería y arquitectura de soluciones sobre AWS.
• Experiencia práctica con:
o AWS Landing Zone, networking, servicios de seguridad y estrategias multi-cuenta.
o Terraform y principios avanzados de IaC.
o GitLab y GitLab-CI.
o Desarrollo en Python con código limpio y de alta calidad.
o Servicios AWS clave: Fargate, Lambda, S3, WAF, KMS, Transit Gateway, IAM, AWS Config.
o Arquitecturas contenerizadas y serverless.
o Integración de soluciones SIEM (preferiblemente Splunk).
o Servicios de seguridad y cumplimiento en AWS (Config, Inspector, Network Firewall...).

• Experiencia en entornos altamente regulados o críticos.
