Your responsibilities include helping with account reconciliations, updating fixed asset records, and assisting in bank account monitoring. You support payment processing, help prepare bank transfers, and assist in reviewing bank reconciliations. Additionally, you contribute to cash analysis reports and gain insight into cash flow management, financial statements, and consolidated accounts.
This role is based in Girona and reports directly to the Head of Finance.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily financial activities of the Group's companies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the accounts of the Group's companies according to Luxembourgish and Spanish GAAP, including daily bookkeeping using Odoo
- Recording and tracking company expenses, ensuring they are classified properly in the general ledger
- Manage bank accounts, process payments, and prepare bank transfers, while maintaining relationships with banking contacts
- Prepare and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounts, credit cards, and other necessary general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support the preparation of cash analysis reports and cash flow analyses
- Aid in preparing financial statements and consolidated accounts for monthly review under the supervision of the Corporate Accounting Lead
- Support company administration tasks
- Assist in reviewing tax returns and tax balances, maintain relevant contacts with tax authorities, and ensure tax records are accurate and up to date
- Provide support during internal and external company audits
- Contribute to quarterly reviews and year-end progress reports
- Participate in financial projects as needed
- Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, seeking an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting
