The Opportunity
We are one of the most ambitious and successful new startups for digital recruitment in Barcelona. After five years of successfully operating in the Spanish and French markets, we are ready to take the next big step and need a Country Manager to lead and grow our Spanish division.
As Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, building strong partnerships, and leading a high-performing team to ensure Talent-R’s continued success in Spain.
You will thrive in a fast-moving, recently created company with a dynamic culture and the autonomy to shape the strategy and direction of the Spanish division.
Your Responsibilities
• Business Leadership:
Take full ownership of the Spanish division’s operations, P&L management, and overall performance.
• Commercial Strategy:
Define and execute a commercial strategy to grow the client portfolio, including identifying opportunities and securing new business.
• Team Leadership:
Build, manage, and inspire a team of talented recruiters and business developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Client Relationship Management:
Develop strong, trust-based relationships with key clients, understanding their business challenges and ensuring Talent-R is their go-to recruitment partner.
• Market Development:
Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the Spanish market, staying ahead of industry trends and positioning Talent-R as a thought leader.
• Recruitment Excellence:
Ensure that the recruitment process is efficient, innovative, and aligned with clients’ needs.
• Brand Ambassador:
Strengthen Talent-R’s employer brand in Spain, promoting our values and vision.
• Governance:
Manage strategic decisions for the Spanish business unit, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and replicating successful business practices.
About You
• Visionary Leader:
You have a track record of success in a leadership role, ideally in a recruitment agency, consulting firm, or startup.
• Business Acumen:
You understand the dynamics of the recruitment industry and have experience in developing and executing business strategies.
• Multilingual:
Fluency in English and Spanish is a must; French is a plus.
• Interpersonal Skills:
Your communication and relationship-building skills allow you to connect with clients, candidates, and teams alike.
• Tech-Savvy:
An interest in technology and innovation is key; you are proactive in discovering new tools and methodologies.
• Driven & Organized:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities effectively, and have a problem-solving mindset.
