We are looking for a person to define system and safety requirements and implement software functions for ICE Diesel Engines or Hybrid powertrains. This role involves creating and maintaining the System Design Document (SDD), also known as DAS (Dossier Architecture Système) in French. Additionally, you will develop and execute a comprehensive Generic System Validation Plan to ensure the system meets all necessary standards and performs reliably.
What You Will Do
- Design and validate system architecture: Ensure the system architecture meets all requirements.
- Translate system requirements: Convert official rules, safety, functional requirements, and performance needs into software specifications for components.
- Prepare SCDR file: Create the System Control Design Review file for initial review with the Software Architect.
- Design validation plans: Develop generic validation plans for software functions.
- Manage SW function development: Oversee software function development in the early project phases and ensure technical convergence.
- Conduct risk analysis: Identify and prioritize adverse events for clients, analyze failure modes, and develop treatment plans.
- Identify and validate degraded modes: Ensure system degraded modes are identified and validated.
- Develop safety concepts and validation tests: Create Functional and Technical Safety Concepts, design dysfunctional validation tests, and compile safety and diagnosis synthesis files.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering / Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics) or PhD in ICE / Hybrids. Preferably related to a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics). Other engineering degrees related to the automotive sector.
- Minimum Experience: At least 5 years.
- Languages: Spanish and English mandatory, French highly appreciated.
