PURCHASING MANAGER AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Job Summary Pontest, a worldwide distributor of lifestyle brands, is looking for a talented Purchasing Manager and Business Developer with solid experience in Business Development & Purchase in trading to join our team and help us grow. We are looking for a professional, motivated and success-driven individual who can cultivate key account relationships as well as develop strategies for attracting new business.

The Purchasing Manager - Business Developer plays a key role in a new strategic plan, which envisions continued growth in the EMEA and global market. Experience in trading is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset, with the ability to evaluate market conditions, discover and pursue new purchase prospects, negotiate deals, and maintain supplier satisfaction.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering relationships with our suppliers and overseeing the implementation of supply and production strategies.

Responsibilities Developing business relationships with new suppliers to identify growth and upgrade opportunities.Actively seeking out new purchase opportunities and developing long-term relationships with enterprise supplier prospects through cold calling, networking, and social media.Identifying profitable product development opportunities and engaging in prospecting, searching, and negotiating with suppliers.Increasing the company's supplier base and ensuring its strong presence.Tracking all orders in progress with staff and team.Presenting frequent reports and reviews of purchases, expenses, and forecasts to the Director.Processing information to perform numerical analyses that generate the best cost-benefit for existing and potential customers.Responsible for meeting assigned quotas and regularly updating supplier relationships.Expediting the resolution of supplier problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field; Master/MBA will be considered a plus.Substantial experience within European B2B companies for lifestyle goods; experience in other markets and categories will be considered a plus.Proactive, persuasive, and strong analytical skills.Proven working experience in purchasing and business development in categories such as lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and FMCG products.Language skills: Proficient in English; Spanish or French is a plus.Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices.Working knowledge of MS Office; advanced Excel skills are a must.Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities.High communication and interpersonal skills, with persuasive ability in negotiations.Autonomous, commercially aggressive, and results-oriented.Ability to evaluate offers and make decisions.Self-motivated with the ability to excel with minimal supervision.To apply for this position, please send your CV to ******.
