Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Postdoctoral Researcher reporting to Universitat Jaume I 2.5 years. The researcher will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, data analysis, and research in the field of Photonics. Specifically, the work will focus on the application of frequency combs generated by microresonators (microcombs) for sensing, within the framework of a European project (HORIZON-CL4-2024-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01-54). This research will be carried out in close collaboration with the University of Alcalá (Madrid).

Desired profile:

The candidate should have a strong background in at least some of the following areas:

• Generation and characterization of frequency combs.
• Distributed fiber sensing systems.
• Fiber interferometry for spectroscopy applications.

Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of programming and data processing. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
