Tu pasión por Warhammer y el desarrollo móvil, al servicio del mejor proyecto del hobby.

En Codex estamos construyendo la plataforma definitiva del universo de las miniaturas: un espacio donde jugadores, coleccionistas y creadores se conectan, comparten, aprenden y viven su hobby como nunca antes.

Y para lograrlo, buscamos a alguien tan friki, curioso y apasionado como nosotros.

Si te flipan los Wargames, Warhammer, las minis, las conversiones, la escenografía y las batallas…

Y además te encanta desarrollar apps, aprender nuevas tecnologías, mejorar productos y crear experiencias que otros jugadores usarán cada día…

💥 Queremos conocerte.

Formarás parte del equipo de producto, trabajando directamente con diseño, backend y el resto de desarrolladores para construir la app oficial de Codex. Aquí no vienes solo a picar código: vienes a crear la herramienta que miles de jugadores querrán tener en su mesa de pintura o en la mochila el día de partida.

Tus tareas incluirán:

• Participar en el desarrollo de la app Android de Codex (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
• Ayudar a implementar nuevas features, pantallas y mejoras de experiencia.
• Contribuir al diseño de arquitectura, componentes y flujos de usuario.
• Integrar APIs y colaborar con backend para nuevas funcionalidades.
• Detectar bugs, proponer mejoras y contribuir a la calidad del producto.
• Investigar nuevas tecnologías o patrones para mejorar la app.
• Probar la app… y sí, también probar listas, facciones y reglas dentro de Codex 😉.
  

• Ame el hobby: Warhammer, miniaturas, escenografía, Kill Team, Age of Sigmar, 40K… Si sabes lo que es un dreadnought, ya tienes terreno ganado.
• Esté empezando en el desarrollo Android, pero con muchas ganas de aprender y aportar.
• Tenga base en Kotlin y nociones de desarrollo móvil.
• Sea curioso, autónomo y disfrute resolviendo problemas.
• Le motive trabajar en un producto real usado por jugadores como él/ella.
• Sea creativo, detalle-oriented y capaz de proponer mejoras.
• Si tienes experiencia con Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture o testing… ¡suma puntos!

What You´ll Do
* Take the lead in crafting scalable and robust application architectures based on business requirements, owning the technical direction and architectural integrity of the product.
* Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other collaborators to collect detailed requirements and convert them into well-structured, efficient technical solutions.
* Resolve complex architectural and technical issues, ensuring the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability.
* Lead and assist a team of engineers, providing guidance on design patterns, coding standards, and mentorship. Cultivate a collaborative and progressive atmosphere within the engineering team.
* Continuously explore new technologies and methodologies to improve product performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Invent, update, and manage user documentation to enhance communication among teams and collaborators. Clearly convey architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical partners.

What We´re Looking For
* 5+ years of commercial Android experience.
* Proficient understanding of OOP, architectural principles, MVP, MVVM, SOLID, and Clean Architecture.
* Proficient understanding of Kotlin and Android SDK.
* Understanding of mobile UI/UX concepts.
* Ability to find a compromise between business requirements, user experience, and technical constraints.
* Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
* Experience in SDK/framework development — an advantage.
* Experience with WebView and Embedded HTML5 games in the binary — an advantage.
* Practical experience with SCRUM.
* Experience with source control systems (Git), CI tools, and app distribution.
* A standout colleague with excellent communication skills, reliable, and a proactive initiator.
