About you Únete a proyectos reales basados en datos que generan impacto en el negocio dentro de una empresa líder de gran consumo (FMCG), mientras desarrollas rápidamente habilidades prácticas en data science con el apoyo de un mentor dedicado. Tus principales funciones serán

• Ayuda en la evaluación y mejora de los modelos de IA/ML en producción analizando su rendimiento, cuantificando la incertidumbre y aumentando su precisión y robustez.
• Soporte en la construcción y prototipo de modelos predictivos, algoritmos de optimización y soluciones de datos para proyectos de Comercial, I+D, Compras o salud/nutrición digital.
• Ayuda en la entrega de insights accionables mediante análisis de datos, despliegue de modelos y presentaciones claras a los stakeholders para apoyar la toma de decisiones transversal.
• Revisa literatura sobre algoritmos avanzados y propone e implementa técnicas modernas adecuadas a los desafíos de Danone.
• Aprende cómo opera una empresa global de FMCG, incluyendo la ejecución de proyectos, la colaboración entre equipos y la integración de data science en la estrategia de negocio.

Perfil buscado (Hombre/Mujer)

• Build and optimize scalable, production-grade data pipelines using AWS (Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift)
• Support the transition from legacy DWH to a lakehouse architecture (bronze/silver/gold)
• Ensure documentation, data quality and efficient ETL/ELT processes
• Translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations and stakeholder report
• Design, deploy, and maintain ML models (supervised, unsupervised, time‑series)
• Develop reproducible pipelines and monitor model performance for continuous improvement
• Build dashboards and self‑service analytics using Power BI, QlikView, and Python/R
• Define data and analytics standards with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and governance teams
• Act as SME on statistics, predictive analytics, and AI integration
• Participate in multi‑country governance, metadata, and data quality processes
• Implement automated workflows for testing, deployment, and monitoring of ML solutions
• Integrate ML operations with CI/CD and IaC pipelines to support DevSecOps

• Must have:
• 5-7 years of experience in data science, analytics, or predictive modelling
• Advanced SQL, strong Python and/or R skills, and experience deploying ML models
• Expertise with AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, SageMaker, Redshift)
• Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures and hybrid cloud environments
• Proficiency with visualization tools (Power BI, QlikView)
• Nice to have:

• Experience in financial or regulated industries

As a Data Scientist Intern – Data Platform & AI you will have the opportunity to:.

• Collaborate with platform and solution engineers to design and develop new data platform features
• Build and prototype data-driven logic for automated classification, detection, and quality assessment
• Analyze structured and semi-structured datasets to validate feature behavior and performance
• Implement and test algorithms, rules, and heuristics to improve accuracy and reliability
• Support integration of data science components into existing platform services and pipelines
• Evaluate results, identify edge cases, and iterate to reduce errors and improve robustness
• Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge sharing
• Work alongside experts in various technological domains.

What Makes You a great Fit?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a related field
• Strong Python fundamentals and ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Solid understanding of data structures, schemas, and common data formats
• Basic knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and classification concepts
• Experience with SQL and data exploration techniques
• Ability to design and reason about deterministic logic such as rules, heuristics, and pattern matching
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working with ambiguous or imperfect data
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers
• Active student status with a Spanish University/School is mandatory.
• Passionate about a tech career.
• Available for at least a 6-month part-time/internship program.
