We are seeking a seasoned technical Product Owner with significant experience in the Data & AI domain to lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our internally built products in Healthcare R&D. This role is crucial in leveraging Data and AI to accelerate and enhance our R&D initiatives, ultimately fostering the discovery and development of new drugs. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, expected business value, and impact, defining and executing the product roadmap and evaluating its impact on the business.
Acting as the primary liaison between R&D end users, business stakeholders as well as the engineering and architecture teams, you will define the product roadmap and ensure seamless integration with other systems and processes within our global R&D Data and AI landscape. This will also require you to engage in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the product's functionality, usability, and performance. Furthermore, you will continuously gather feedback from end users and regularly communicate product roadmap updates across the organization. Your proactive approach will be essential in identifying new product growth opportunities, as well as potential risks or roadblocks, and proposing mitigating strategies to ensure successful roadmap delivery.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will champion a product mindset and focus on business value throughout the organization, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to data analysis, ML, especially FMs, will be vital in enhancing the effectiveness of the product. You will report to the Head of Product Management in the Healthcare Digital, Data & IT organization.
You will join a multicultural team working in agile methodologies and having high autonomy in decision-making. This role can be remote in Spain or our office onsite in Barcelona. Infrequent travel to Darmstadt might be required.
Who You Are
- Master´s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in developing enterprise data platforms or data-related products.
- Ability to envision long-term product success and craft clear and actionable product roadmaps to achieve the strategic company’s goals.
- Good conceptional understanding of the data and AI ecosystem, data flows and architecture, ML, and FMs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps methodologies and experience in managing backlog items, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences R&D domain is very beneficial.
- Fluency in English is essential.

En Bershka buscamos incorporar a un/a Product Owner - Digital Product Management para ser el responsable directo de la gestión y evolución del producto dentro de su Squad. Su principal función es garantizar que el equipo desarrolle soluciones alineadas con la estrategia de negocio y con las necesidades del usuario, priorizando iniciativas que maximicen el impacto. Trabaja en estrecha colaboración con desarrolladores, diseñadores y analistas (Data+Research) para entregar valor de manera iterativa y eficiente.
¿Cuáles serían tus funciones?
Gestión y Desarrollo del Producto:
- Definir, gestionar y priorizar el backlog del producto del squad, asegurando que refleje las prioridades estratégicas y las necesidades del usuario.
- Traducir la visión del producto en historias de usuario claras, detalladas y accionables para el equipo de desarrollo.
- Asegurar que las funcionalidades entregadas sean medibles, optimizando su impacto en la experiencia del usuario y en el negocio. Impulsando la experimentación y la mejora continua a través de pruebas A/B y análisis de datos.
- Colaborar con equipos de UX/UI, Data y Research para fundamentar las decisiones de producto en datos e insights del usuario.
- Definir y monitorear KPI’s clave del rendimiento del producto en su squad.
Relación directa y gestión del Squad:
- Trabajar en colaboración con desarrolladores, diseñadores y analistas asegurando la entrega de valor en cada sprint, que comprendan los requerimientos y objetivos de cada funcionalidad. El squad es el principal stakeholder del squad.
- Facilitar la comunicación entre los miembros del squad, asegurando claridad en los objetivos y expectativas de cada iniciativa.
- Fomentar un buen ambiente de trabajo basado en la colaboración, la transparencia y el aprendizaje continuo.
- Participar activamente en las ceremonias ágiles (sprint planning, refinements, daily meetings, retrospectives) y garantizar que el equipo tenga claridad en las prioridades.
- Ser el principal, aunque no exclusivo, punto de contacto del squad en la toma de decisiones de producto.
- Resolver bloqueos y dudas técnicas o funcionales dentro del squad, escalando cuando sea necesario.
- Asegurar la entrega incremental de valor en cada sprint, alineando el trabajo del equipo con los objetivos de negocio.
Relación con Stakeholders y Lead PO:
- Recoger y priorizar requerimientos de negocio, asegurando que el backlog refleje las necesidades estratégicas.
- Actuar como punto de contacto principal, pero no único, entre el squad y las áreas de negocio (Comercial, Marketing, Data, Atención al Cliente, Operaciones y Estudio), asegurando que las iniciativas sean relevantes y alineadas con la estrategia de la empresa.
- Asegurar la alineación entre las decisiones del squad y la estrategia general del producto digital. Fomentar la democratización de las decisiones.
- Trabajar bajo la guía del Lead PO, asegurando consistencia en la gestión de producto entre los diferentes squads.
- Garantizar que el squad sea autónomo en la ejecución y toma de decisión, pero alineado con los objetivos estratégicos generales.
- Facilitar la comunicación entre equipos de desarrollo y stakeholders, asegurando un entendimiento mutuo de las prioridades.
Relación con el CDO en la formación de squad:
- Alinear la visión estratégica del squad con las directrices establecidas por el CDO, asegurando que el backlog y roadmap reflejen los objetivos del negocio.
- Colaborar con el CDO en la formación del squad, ayudando a definir roles, necesidades de recursos y estructura del equipo para garantizar su efectividad.
- Traducir las prioridades estratégicas del CDO en iniciativas tácticas, asegurando que el squad las implemente de manera eficiente.
- Participar en revisiones periódicas con el CDO, reportando avances, métricas clave, bloqueos y oportunidades de optimización.
- Garantizar que el squad adopte la cultura de producto promovida por el CDO, basada en impacto medible, experimentación, ciclo del producto y agilidad.
Calidad y Entregables:
- Asegurar que las soluciones entregadas cumplen con los estándares de calidad, usabilidad y performance técnica. Prioridad a la calidad, por encima de la velocidad.
- Colaborar con QA y Data para validar el impacto de las funcionalidades entregadas y realizar ajustes basados en datos.
- Ajustar estrategias y funcionalidades en función de insights generados por research y feedback de usuarios. Promover una cultura de mejora continua dentro del squad, fomentando la experimentación y el aprendizaje iterativo.
¿Cómo te imaginamos?
- Experiencia previa en gestión de productos digitales o roles similares (mínimo 3 años).
- Conocimiento de metodologías ágiles (Scrum, Kanban) y herramientas de gestión de producto (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Habilidades analíticas y experiencia en el uso de métricas para la toma de decisiones.
- Capacidad de trabajo en equipo y gestión de stakeholders.
- Orientación al usuario y visión estratégica del producto.

The role:
R&D Information Technology (IT) is the stream in Nestlé IT Hub in charge of powering the R&D function with IT capabilities to drive company growth through breakthrough research than can be translated quickly into products and services.
The unique space of Sensory Evaluation for Nestlé involves Research & Development in Nestlé Product Technology Centers, as well Technical & Production in Nestlé Factories. - Support the R&D Sensory IT Product Manager to translate the R&D and Operations strategy to a consolidated Evolve roadmap from multiple stakeholders inputs.
- Capture user insights to feed the Evolve roadmap.

- For in-house built applications, liaise with the development team(s) to ensure delivery of the Evolve roadmap.
