Senior User Experience Researcher
Welltech · Madrid, ES

Who Are We?
Welcome to Welltech—where health meets innovation! As a global leader in the Health & Fitness industry, we´ve crossed over 200 million installs with five life-changing apps, all designed to boost well-being for millions. Our mission? To transform lives through intuitive nutrition trackers, powerful fitness solutions, and personalized wellness journeys—all powered by a diverse team of over 800 passionate professionals with a presence across 5 hubs.
Why Welltech? Imagine joining a team where your impact on global health and wellness is felt daily. At Welltech, we strive to be proactive wellness partners for our users while continually evolving ourselves.
Exploring new heights, we are looking for a Senior UX Researcher who will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of one of our leading apps.
Challenges you meet:
- You´ll be at the heart of user-centered innovation. Our crew needs to make decisions based on insights rather than a gut feeling—and that is where you come in, sharing the current user experience and helping teams validate new ideas, concepts, and features.
- You´ll build upon our collective understanding of our creative audience. Every moment spent exploring the user experience gets us closer to our users´ worlds, worries, and wonders. You´ll help build frameworks that enable the company to see and act differently.
- You´ll be part of a product ecosystem that is user-centered by nature. Your work will be essential in highlighting the value of research and how to leverage the collected insights.
- You´ll have plenty of room to grow. We value trust and autonomy, and our team will always have your back. With your work, you´ll impact product roadmaps, feature direction, and design work.
Your professional qualities:
- You are practical and hands-on. You don´t let methods define your impact. Instead, you plan your work strategically by carefully listening and building up a solid understanding of the product, its audience, and the team(s).
- You have a sharp mind with an eye for detail. You like digging, whether to get to the question behind the question of your stakeholders or the problem behind the problem of our users. You like balancing research requests from the team with any insights gaps you spot to paint a complete picture.
- You enjoy working in a growing and dynamic environment. We´re a small team with big ambitions. Even though you are a researcher primarily, you don´t mind supporting the team with other tasks, such as research ops and advocacy.
And some more:
- You have at least 4+ years of relevant user research experience in developing digital products where you have done usability tests, concept tests, and/or unmoderated studies independently.
- You´re comfortable doing evaluative research, having done this many times in previous jobs, and you can run a study end-to-end independently.
- You are excited to grow your experience in foundational research—you have some experience doing in-depth interviews, leading focus groups, and understanding basic data analysis models such as affinity mapping.
- You know how to get people on board. You´re comfortable working in English and communicate clearly and to the point. You know how to make insights land with your stakeholders.
- You can keep your agenda flexible to work with people across time zones.
We offer a fair level of compensation that will be appropriate for your expertise and level.
Welltech is not only about great benefits but also about great culture. All our specialists are offered incredible opportunities for professional and career growth, flexible work environments, and the ability to suggest ideas and drive changes.
In our team, you´ll find an opportunity to develop and implement your ideas as well as to make the world a better place!
