Job Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Data Science Contractor to oversee the Quality Assurance process of a Demand Transfer Model.
• The role requires strong communication skills to supervise the outcomes, ensure adherence to the agreed procedure, and coordinate progress with the internal team.
• The contractor must also be able to understand the model logic and business success criteria and build PySpark validation scripts to confirm that all criteria are met.

As our next Data Scientist, based in Barcelona, you’ll join our Marketplace Team - the engine room where data meets behaviour. You’ll design intelligent systems that make our two-sided marketplace smarter and fairer: better search, faster matching, and more dynamic pricing. This isn’t about isolated modelling, it’s about shipping production-ready intelligence that directly shapes how millions of people find, choose, and hire trusted trades.

Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:

• Experimenting with LLM-based and retrieval-augmented models (RAG) to improve matching, ranking, and recommendations.
• Building prototypes that make our search and pricing systems more adaptive, efficient, and fair - powered by embeddings, reinforcement learning, and continuous feedback loops.
• Collaborating closely with engineers to productionise insights, ensuring our models aren’t just smart, but scalable and measurable in the real world.
• Working cross-functionally with product and platform teams to define how AI and data science integrate into every part of the marketplace experience.
• Contributing to our internal AI playbook - helping set the standards for experimentation, evaluation, and ethical AI in production environments.

• Strong applied data science experience in modern Python stacks - PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar.
• Experience building and deploying production-grade models that solve real business problems.

• A pragmatic mindset: you know when to fine-tune, when to use off-the-shelf models, and when simpler is smarter.

Descripción de la oferta: NTT Data desea contratar consultores de proyectos de analítica avanzada e IA para el departamento de Business Analytics – sector banca.

Las personas candidatas deben ser capaces de obtener conclusiones de negocio a partir de grandes volúmenes de información mediante la modelización avanzada de datos.

Es necesario tener alguna experiencia probada en desarrollo de proyectos analíticos en sector financiero.

Titulación: Formación en Matemáticas, Físicas, Ingeniería, Estadística o formación similar. Se valorarán Posgrados en Inteligencia Artificial y/o Ciencia del dato.

Experiencia: 1 - 3 años de experiencia en Analítica Avanzada y ciencia del dato aplicada a servicios financieros.

Conocimientos:

Requerido:

• Background analítico y de programación (Python, pyspark)
• Visualización de datos con herramientas como PowerBI, Tableau, Looker o similar
• Nivel Avanzado en inglés

Valorado:

• ETLs (SQL, Spark DataFrames API)
• Conocimiento de aplicaciones de machine Learning, Deep Learning y estadística en diferentes dominios. Conocimiento en natural language processing (NLP) y en Large Language Models (LLMs)

Deseable:

- Conocimiento de entornos de nube como Azure, GCP o AWS.

- Certificaciones en entornos de nube (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Soft skills:

• Fuerte pensamiento analítico.
• Buenas habilidades de comunicación.
