Reportando a la dirección general, deberá generar y optimizar un entorno organizativo eficaz y eficiente, así como desarrollar los sistemas de información y tecnologías de comunicación que apoyen la estrategia de la empresa. Liderazgo desde la vertiente de IT, coordinando con el resto de las funciones, la visión, definición e implementación de la Estrategia Digital de la Compañía. Ayudar a poner al servicio de la Organización las herramientas y sistemas más eficientes/ novedosos. Se ejercerá de agente de transformación, dinamización y mejora continua en la Compañía.

Funciones principales:­

• Definir la estructura del departamento de IT y sus subdepartamentos (Sistemas, Master Data, Negocio) de acuerdo a la estrategia de la empresa (PMO, mejora continua, etc.).
• Coordinar, gestionar y liderar el equipo humano del departamento de IT apoyando y orientando su trabajo hacia la consecución de los objetivos establecidos.
• Desarrollar la organización (habilidades, capacidades y roles & responsabilidades).
• Gestión y colaboración con las personas usuarias o programadoras externas garantizando el control de calidad de todas sus actividades (configuración, diseños funcionales y técnicos, testing y training).
• Dar soporte funcional al equipo de Master Data.
• Identificar las necesidades de formación dentro del equipo.
• Participa activamente en los procesos de selección del personal del departamento asegurando que las personas candidatas cumplen con los criterios marcados por la compañía.
• Asegurar todo cumplimiento normativo en temas de Ciberseguridad.
• Challenge continúo de los procesos y procedimientos de negocio realizando análisis y proponiendo proactivamente cambios y proyectos de valor añadido.
• Cumplir con altos estándares de seguridad tecnológica (Ciberseguridad, Compliance, Seguridad de aplicaciones y datos, LOPD…).
• Figura responsable de la Ciberseguridad, respondiendo ante vulnerabilidad de datos y la protección de la infraestructura de la organización.
• Formará parte del equipo Food & Feed Fraud & defense.
• Cumplir y asegurar el cumplimiento de las normas, procedimientos e instrucciones generales y específicas de prevención de riesgos laborales y medioambiente, Seguridad Alimentaria o GMP’s, así como promoverlos en su área y puesto de trabajo.
• Conocer y aplicar el Plan de Emergencia. En caso de detectar alguna situación de riesgo hacia las personas, las instalaciones, el medio ambiente o de seguridad alimentaria comunicarlo de forma inmediata.
• Asegurar una correcta segregación de los residuos.
• Cumplir con las políticas y procedimientos tanto generales como específicos de la posición, así como asegurar la realización de todas las tareas al alcance para facilitar la consecución de los objetivos de la compañía.
• Responsable de las infraestructuras, sistemas, comunicaciones y aplicaciones de la organización.
• Responsable de la configuración de SAP como ERP corporativo e implementación del S4 Hanna o futuros programas/ERP que puedan proponerse.
• Coordinación de la proveeduría externa del área de IT con la empresa externalizada.
• Facilitar el traspaso de conocimiento, comunicación, formación e interacción con las personas usuarias de negocio e identificar sus necesidades actuando como punto de contacto con los key users.
• Proteger y preservar la consistencia y robustez de la Información.
• Responsable de la configuración, documentación, diseños funcionales y técnicos, test scripts y manuales de formación de su área de conocimiento.
• Asegurar el rendimiento e integridad de SAP trabajando de manera coordinada con el resto del equipo de IT.
• Plantear proactivamente, planificar y liderar proyectos tecnológicos de negocio.
• Actuar como agente catalizador del cambio cultural y organizacional.
• Gestión, priorización, resolución, monitorización y documentación de las incidencias y evolutivos (cambios) de SAP reportados por las personas usuarias de negocio, siguiendo los procedimientos, SLA's y controles definidos por la empresa.
• Gestión y ejecución de los proyectos asignados siguiendo los procedimientos definidos por la empresa para el ciclo de vida del proyecto (plan, hitos, entregables, budget, recursos, documentación, riesgos, etc.).
• Introducir y promover una cultura de mejora continua y de excelencia operativa de manera transversal en toda la organización identificando oportunidades de mejora.
• Promover y desarrollar la orientación a la clientela (Business Partnering) y cultura de metodología y medición tanto en procesos como en proyectos.
• Definir la estrategia de servicio óptima para la compañía, así como las políticas y procedimientos correspondientes.
• Definir, controlar y ejecutar el presupuesto del departamento de IT evaluando y estableciendo las prioridades en OPEX y CAPEX.

Formación:

• Licenciatura en Ingeniería Informática o similar, o experiencia equivalente.

Conocimientos específicos:

• Conocimientos avanzados de SAP y otros sistemas de gestión integral (ERP).
• Conocimientos actualizados de otras herramientas y sistemas eficientes.
• Conocimientos técnicos en métodos de gestión de proyectos.

Conocimientos complementarios:

• Conocimiento del sector químico, aromas y aceites esenciales.
• Experiencia en entornos complejos de Cadena de Suministro (gran número de referencias, multitud de clientes.).
• Experiencia en consultoría estratégica y operacional.

Main Duties

Operational

• Provides technical assistance, advice to hotel management so as to minimize overhead expenses and maximize productivity in all areas.
• Assist authorized users in relation to operation of the hotel’s IS system hardware, various modules and supporting personal computers.
• Coordinates timely repair and return to service any faulty systems or items of equipment.
• Establishes and implements procedures to ensure backup of data in any IS system.
• Rebuilds data corrupted by either hardware or software faults.
• Coordinates the timely handling of any software fault reports or enhancement requests.
• Sets up emergency procedures and BCP to continue the operation of the hotel in the event of system failure.
• Provides manuals on the issue of IS systems and incorporates those manuals into the relevant operating procedures of the hotel.
• Establishes and Maintain Hyatt necessary Cyber security measures to prevent unauthorized access to the IS systems.
• Provides technical assistance to internal and external audit employees.
  
  

Customer Service

• Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other employees (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.
• Ensures all Information Systems employees provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
• Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
• Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  
  

Financial

• Maximizes employee productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.
• Directs employees to ensure productivity meets standards given in accordance with Hyatt Design Standards and Criteria and the Hyatt International Finance Operations Manual.
• Assists with the preparation of the annual Finance Business Plan ensuring Divisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the hotel and needs of employees.
• Assists with the preparation and regular update of the Finance Departmental Budget, in close cooperation with the Director of Finance ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
• Focuses attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costs within acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment.
• Ensures new technology and equipment are embraced, improving productivity whilst taking work out of the system.
  
  

Personnel

• Assists the recruitment and selection of all IS employees; follows the hotel guidelines when recruiting and uses a competency-based approach to selecting employees.
• Ensures the punctuality and appearance of all IS employees, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.
• Maximizes the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
• Conducts annual Performance Development Discussions with employees and supports them in their professional development goals.
• Plans and implements effective training programmes for employees in coordination with the Training Manager and Departmental Trainers.
• Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution to the success of the operation.
• Supports reinforcement of Hyatt’s Values.
• Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to employee rules and regulations.
• Ensures that employees follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.
• Feedback the results of the Employee Opinion Survey and to ensure that the relevant changes are implemented.
  
  

Administration

• Managing the department in a professional, efficient manner with flexible service where possible, to ensure maximum guest satisfaction, consistent with Grand Hyatt Barcelona and Hyatt International Standards, through planning, organizing, directing and controlling the Information Systems policies and procedures, operation and administration.
• Assists with the development and maintenance of a detailed Department Operations Manual that reflects policies and procedures, work processes and standards of performance within the Division and ensures annual review to accurately reflect any changes.
• Ensures the availability of any stationery or consumables required by any IS systems.
• Ensures that all licenses are complete and up to date.
• Conducts regular Departmental Communication Meetings.
  
  

Other Duties

• Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
• Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations.
• Exercises responsible management and behavior at all times and positively representing the hotel management team and Hyatt International.
• Maintains strong, professional relationship with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations.
• Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and has an understanding of and adheres to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.
• Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
• Responds to changes in the Information Systems function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Leadership experience in a similar role required.
• University/College degree in a related discipline required.
• Understanding of hotel applications an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
