We are currenlt working for a global pharmaceutical company that is looking for a Business Director Europe
Reporting to the Global Business Director, her/his main purpose will be to lead and coordinate the strategic direction of the biggest business in company in Europe, while being accountable of the execution of the plan to maximize the growth of the subsidiaries and their teams.
Main duties:
- Define, together with the Global Business Director, the annual quantitative and qualitative objectives based on the Company's Strategic Plan and vision.
- Monitor the annual quantitative and qualitative objectives and promote corrective measures in case of significant deviations, implementing an internal process that allows immediate reports to identify and report such deviations in advance, while proposing the necessary corrective measures.
- Lead, direct, and motivate the team under supervision to develop various markets, promoting both their professional and personal development, encouraging values such as perseverance, optimism, teamwork and efficiency.
- Identify needs and participate in the recruitment, integration, and training processes of new team members.
- Identify and propose new international business opportunities, bringing innovative ideas in the areas of process improvement, customer service, resource optimization, new subsidiaries, new markets, and new distributors.
- Detect and implement improvements in the organization of assigned Human Resources, being demanding in both personal performance and that of the team members under supervision, taking actions to correct unwanted attitudes or results, and making necessary decisions with speed and firmness.
- Contribute ideas in follow-up meetings, taking the lead in joint projects, and demanding commitment from other members until the final objective is achieved.
- Accountability on roll-out of specific programs across the region SAMP, Customer engagement roadmap, etc.
The requirements are:
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proven track record in a commercial-P&L based - experience in medium to big size teams
- Availability to travel for business purposes in 30% in her/his time
