For our procurement organization we are currently looking for a:

VP Procurement (m/f/d)

This position is a critical group role that owns the end-to-end procurement scope, direct and indirect materials, third party product sourcing, while embedding sustainability in the entire value chain.

• Act as a strategic partner to commercial teams, driving growth through innovation while managing supply risks and ensuring market price transparency, balancing cost and cash effectively.
• Foster talent development and capability growth within the procurement team, building a highly engaged and motivated expert network across the organization.
• Define and implement a procurement vision and strategy that aligns with the Group strategy and supports the broader Supply Chain objectives.
• Lead the transformation of the procurement function, advancing it towards a data-driven and digital-first approach, while owning and executing the digital roadmap.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and long-term partnerships, fostering collaboration in areas such as supply security, cost savings, innovation, and sustainability.
• Drive the sustainability strategy and key programs within the downstream value chain, ensuring alignment with public commitments on CO₂ footprint reduction and regulatory compliance.
• Operate within Group Supply Chain leadership, working in a matrix structure to guide, educate, and support the procurement organization across all Hero entities.

• Deep expertise in procurement, complemented by a solid understanding of all other supply chain functions.
• Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on performance, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, and collaborate across all levels and functions within the organization.
