⭐️ Your mission ⭐️

As we are growing our Sales team, we are looking for a rockstar BDR to help us move upmarket 🚀

You will work closely with a team of 3 Account Executives and 1 BDR in generating new business by qualifying leads, driving various outbound campaigns and supporting them in their opportunities. You will also participate to enhance the prospection approach at Alan.

You will be responsible for:

• Generating qualitative meetings to achieve our company objectives: put a strong focus on mapping the companies and stakeholders, working hand in hand with the Account Executive to prepare and deliver quality meetings;
• Developing outbound sales leads and responding to product inquiries, running email campaigns to generate new sales prospects;
• Completing accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in our CRM;
• Representing our company’s products: starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs;
• Understanding, embracing and applying the Alan Smart & Soft selling method: this method stems from the concept that the prospect experience is an inseparable piece of the overall Alan customer experience.
  
  

⭐️ You will be a great fit for the Sales team if you: ⭐️

• Have at least one first customer-facing experience (internship, summer job, or else)
• Like warm/cold calling - any experience in prospecting on a previous role would be a big plus
• Are fully bilingual in Spanish, to a level where you can successfully do cold calling in Spanish
• Have at least intermediate level in English
• Have strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Are highly organised with exceptional follow-up skills
• Have empathy and are passionate about understanding and solving prospects' challenges
• Have the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team
• Have a desire to learn fast and make an impact from day one

What you’ll be doing:

As a part of the RELEX team in Barcelona, you will be responsible for helping to build the sales pipeline across SEMEA. This role is well suited to a multilingual candidate looking to leverage their languages and appreciation for cultural differences across multiple geographies.

• Targeted outbound demand generation: Contacting stakeholders in your target account list via emails, phone calls, and social media to drive awareness of how RELEX can help solve their unique challenges.
• Engaging and qualifying outbound and inbound sales leads with the objective of scheduling qualified meetings for the Sales team.
• Cooperate closely with the regional sales team to support the growth of the sales pipeline through targeted prospecting activities.
• Research your list of target accounts and the key stakeholders within them to craft and deliver personalised and compelling messaging.
• Help promote various events (physical and virtual) in advance, and follow-up post-event to qualify registrations.
  
  

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Fluency in English and one of French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, or German written and spoken at native / CEFR C2 level.
• The ability to write and communicate well via email, phone, and social media.
• The ability to communicate with Senior Executives at prospect accounts.
• Efficient and independent working style.
• Can demonstrate tenacity in the face of rejection.
• Eagerness to learn something new every day and a strong can-do attitude.
  
  

We also expect that you spend Monday to Thursday in the office (except for Fridays, which are a work-from-home day), as we consider the learning that happens on account of proximity with experienced colleagues an important part of your professional development.

What we consider as an advantage:

• Understanding of retail’s core processes (supply chain, merchandising, and store operations).
• Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft.
• Sales or Business Development experience.
• The ability to speak three or more major European languages (inclusive of English) at a professional level.
• Fluency in Arabic.
