As Chief Talent Officer, you will operate at the holding level, ensuring that every company within YOUNG has the best people to drive growth. This role is not about operational recruitment, but about identifying, attracting, and developing top leadership and talent across all businesses. You will lead YOUNG Talents (www.ytalents.nl), our dedicated talent acquisition and recruitment company, and ensure that it effectively supports the hiring needs across the entire YOUNG Group.

This position is primarily focused on senior roles—finding and securing the top leaders and key people who will drive our companies forward. You will work internationally, covering the Netherlands, Spain, and soon the United States, requiring strong multilingual communication skills.

• Develop and implement a strategic talent plan across all YOUNG companies.
• Focus on senior and leadership positions, ensuring that each company has the best talent at the top.
• Work closely with founders and executives to understand their leadership needs and proactively find the right people.
• Ensure succession planning and long-term leadership development across the organization.
• Act as a connector between all companies, ensuring synergy in hiring and team development.
• Oversee and lead YOUNG Talents (www.ytalents.nl), aligning it with the broader vision of talent acquisition and development.
• Operate on an international level, focusing on the Netherlands, Spain, and the United States as key markets.
• Communicate fluently across different regions—strong language skills are essential.

What will make you succeed in this position?

• A solid background in business, preferably with experience in areas such as strategy, operations, or project management.
• Proficient level with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and power point.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.The ability to analyze complex business situations, identify opportunities, and build compelling business cases.
• The capability to effectively convey the content and importance of initiatives to OEs and other stakeholders in English.
• The capability to adapt to changing circumstances, overcome challenges, and provide assistance to enhance the impact of company's initiatives. 
• Data analysis and evaluation skills.

Your mission in the role will be:

• Gathering and interpreting data from various sources to assess the performance of initiatives. This includes both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Creating detailed reports and presentations that communicate the outcomes and impact of initiatives to stakeholders at all levels
• Monitor the progress of company's initiatives over time, providing assistance to enhance impact and overcome challenge
• Evaluate the results of company's initiatives gathering and sharing insights
• Work closely with OEs to identify improvement areas aligned with the company strategy and develop compelling business cases
• Drive company's initiatives supporting the OEs in the implementation
• Establish robust relationships to become a trusted advisor on specific company's initiatives
