Job specification
- Work together with a Client Service Manager responsible for a portfolio of clients to support the daily activities of the funds under management;
- Support the Client Service Manager to ensure compliance with internal and external processes;
- Monitor compliance with deadlines according to Fund corporate calendar and internal procedures; Report to the Client Service Manager for approaching deadlines and ensure the fund corporate calendar is up-to-date;
- Update internal database on clients (static as well as dynamic) data by leasing internally with counterparties to verify and/or collect the required information
- Prepare 1st draft of Operating Memorandum based on latest available template for review by the Client Service Manager;
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure compliance with internal procedures and their proper documentation, i.e. Populate checklists, AML forms, UBO forms, other fund related reports with the support of the Client Service Manager; where needed, resolve with the help of the Client Service Manager issues on missing information;
- Ensure all investor subscription documents incl. side letters are saved on client folder;
- Prepare 1st draft of investors side letter matrix and report to the Client Service Manager any gaps on responsible parties or approaching deadline;
- Where FundRock LIS acts as corporate secretary, liaise internally to collect Board pack relevant reports from internal departments. Report to the Client Service Manager in case of missing data;
- Prepare cash payment instructions for review and signature by the Client Service Manager;
- Upload investor reports and target fund documentation to the investor portal;
- Support the Client Service Management team with any ad hoc requests from clients;
- Support with ad hoc projects.
- Academic degree, preferably in Finance or Economics;
- Keen to further develop your practical knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to financial services, both within Luxembourg and other jurisdictions;
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical and communications skills;
- Good working knowledge in MS Office suite;
- Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.

About us:
Holtara is a leading worldwide consultancy firm specialising in ESG advisory services. We help our clients navigate the complexities of carbon & climate impacts, implement low-carbon practices, and achieve their sustainability goals. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant with a science or sustainability background to join our dynamic team and form part of our Carbon & Climate practice.
Position Overview: The Consultant will leverage his/her expertise to provide strategic advice and support clients on carbon & climate performance management, focusing on decarbonization, net-zero roadmaps, and climate risk & opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing corporate Carbon footprints in line with the GHG Protocol
- Support company management to a net-zero journey and align to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
- Conducting climate risk assessments in line with leading industry frameworks.
- Stay up to date on current on evolving carbon & climate regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop and deliver presentations and training materials on carbon & climate topics.
- Support our digital platform development in creating innovative solutions for our client base (e.g. automated carbon footprint assessments, automated decarbonization roadmaps etc).
- Quantitative study background – sustainability oriented preferred but not mandatory – e.g. Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainable Energy technology, Earth Sciences, Sustainable Business Management, Climate & Finance) having affinity with sustainability in general and the financial sector in particular.
- Preferably knowledge of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, TCFD and SBTi, or if not, at minimum eagerness to learn
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyse complex situations and develop creative solutions.
- Good research, interpretation, and communication skills to effectively guide clients through the evolving carbon and climate landscape.
- Good time management skills
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, or if not, at minimum eagerness to learn
