About The Department
Within the Supply Chain function sit our Planning teams. With a population of over 300 people these teams are a competitor leading, purpose built Global Hub, covering a multitude of Planning areas where we share best practice in a centralized and standard way to deliver industry leading service at best cost and the right level of inventory.
Our Global Supply Planning team is an important part of Coty’s business. Sitting within the Planning zone of the Supply Chain function the team are responsible for ensuring our products are made and delivered to the right distribution centres, on time and in full. This is achieved by delivering the best balance of service, inventory, cost and sustainability, that delivers the Company’s revenue and cashflow objectives.
THE ROLE
The Planner executes daily operational activities across the following areas within Supply Planning:
- Material Supply Planning MSP: Working with Suppliers to ensure materials availability for site production, materials supply risk resolution and escalation, and materials inventory optimization.
- Material Supply Management MSM: Working with suppliers and procurement function to drive supplier capability and agility, long terms capacity planning and business continuity planning.
- Master Production Scheduling MPS: Working with plants on finished goods planning and scheduling, production capacity and volume control, and finished goods inventory optimization.
- New Product Development Planning NPD: Initiatives capacity assessment, Initiatives planning and coordination, PIPO Management. Risk Management and prioritization, initiatives execution and delivery at market level. Support and input to Supply Network Design projects.
- Distribution Requirements Planning DRP: Working with supply planning functions to ensure finished goods deployment and availability at the distribution centers, balancing service, cash, cost, and sustainability. Risk management and prioritization for base business and launches. Leading and driving communication with Market regarding supply availability.
- Category Supply Planning - Deliver annual glide paths and action plans to deliver the corporate objectives for continuous improvement in Inventory and Fill Rate. Inventory management and performance, planning operating strategy definition and optimization, AOP and Production volumes coordination, and product discontinuation coordination and optimization.
- Planning Capabilities: System expertise including training and development, system enhancement, planning SPOC for cross functional projects, establishing planning standards and system usage adherence.
- Service and inventory KPIs.
- Process ownership and improvement.
- Relationships with relevant DC/Plant/Supplier.
- Technical and system knowledge.
- Plan production lines, supplier materials and/or product shipping to the DCs for the area of responsibility.
- Run relevant reports, analyze the data for risk management purposes, identify the priorities and align those with the business KPIs communicating at the daily direction setting meeting as appropriate.
- Communicate decisions made to Suppliers, DCs and Plants effectively and ensure all are working to the relevant timelines deployed (short, medium, and long-term timelines).
- Coordinate and support in meetings with internal and external stakeholders up to and including management level.
- Prepare and participate in the daily direction setting meeting across the relevant Planning teams.
- Own a process across the wider Planning department, communicate it to new starters and ensure compliance across the Planning teams.
- Analyze data and information to proactively identify trends and issues, escalating and action planning as appropriate.
- Key systems user, supporting the team with functionality and leading configuration as necessary.
- Use the processes, systems, and tools available to ensure all tasks are value add.
- Identify improvement opportunities for the area of responsibility, raising these as appropriate and implementing successfully (where possible).

Responsibilities
As our IPM Procurement Intern, you are responsible for supporting new initiative and product management.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of procurement operations, price management, timings and having a good relationship with the product development teams.
Your main focus :
- Supporting multifunctional Team as timeline responsible and facilitator.
- Follow up new projects, contact suppliers for quotations and timings.
- Follow up Reporting process with accuracy
- Detect new Saving opportunities
- Procurement tasks (price management)
You will work closely together with several departments such as R&D, Headquarters and New Initiative Offices.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a IPM Procurement Intern, you like to be analytical and data-oriented. As an experienced IMP Procurement Intern, you approach challenges with meticulous planning and a detail-oriented mindset, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment. Other than that, you are:
- In the last year student as Engineer or Bachelor in Business Administration.
- Ideal with Procurement and/or Supply Chain specialization
- Experience in Windows Office (Excel) is a must
- Preferred USER knowledge of ERP tools (SAP, Sievo, PlanView) is a plus
- Well organized and independent worker
- Great communicator and enjoy different projects
- Fluent English and Spanish language
