We are seeking a dynamic, service-focused, and detail-oriented Property Maintenance Manager to join our team!
Company Description Nordic RentAway Spain is a small company based in Alicante, founded in 2017, specializing in property management and rental services. Situated in the vibrant tourism industry of Costa Blanca, we offer a unique and exciting work environment.
Role Description This full-time Property Maintenance Manager role at Nordic RentAway Spain in Alicante offers a hybrid work model. As a Property Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and repairs of our properties, located from Dénia to Santa Pola, ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate all property maintenance activities with our teams and clients. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience within general maintenance and preferably experience within the hospitality sector to understand the challenges that may arise.
Qualifications Proven experience in property maintenanceExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesIn-depth knowledge of health and safety regulationsStrong knowledge of building systems and structural elementsEffective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teamsProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyAttention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance issuesFamiliarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plusExperience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management)Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quicklyExcellent organizational and leadership skillsExperience with property management software is a plusRelevant certifications in maintenance or facility management are advantageousA High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is preferredResponsibilities Provide supervision/support to all staff on a daily basisInspect properties regularly to ensure safety and quality standardsArrange for routine maintenance of installations at properties (e.g. swimming pools, air conditioning, heaters, whirlpools, other mechanical installations)Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guestsPlan and oversee renovations and constructionAct fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages, leaks, etc.)Find ways to reduce operating costs for the company and clientsManage and supervise relationships with maintenance technicians, contractors, and service providersReview all completed work orders, and inspect completed work as needed to ensure accuracy and qualityAssist all departments in handling any unusual maintenance-related guest complaintsMaintain budgets, expenses, and activity logsMaintain open communications with all departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfactionGeneral Promote teamwork at all timesNotify important issues promptly and fully to clientsBe polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and fellow employeesComply with company uniform and standardsMaintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work areaWhat we offer International work environment
Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Location: Hybrid, work from home and on-site in the Alicante Province
Entry salary: 1,600.00€ monthly net salary
