We are looking for a talented Guest Relations to join our magnificent Front Office team at Serras Barcelona Luxury Boutique Hotel, 5* GL!
Job Description
- Provide upscale guest service experiences for guests throughout their stay
- Ensure guests are properly greeted upon their arrival
- Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in
- Establish pre-arrival communication with all arriving guests
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, including reservations and financial transactions
- Promptly address guests’ requests and ensure all guests receive personalized services
- Anticipate and recognize individual guest needs.
- To handle all guest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully.
- Aid concierge by being familiar with the best places to tour, shop, and dine
- Coordinate and manage communication between guests and departments and follow up to ensure we resolve customer concerns
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role in a 5* GL hotel
- Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software (PMS), preferably Opera
- Proficiency in English and Spanish; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Leadership skills along with proactivity
- Excellent knowledge of computers and systems.
- Successful problem-solving skills.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
- Excellent overall communication and organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- Be a self-motivator and motivator of others.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- BSc degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or relevant field
