We are currently seeking a professional to ensure the development of the product and the process of the cell through supplier management, complying with technical standards and regulations, aligned with cost, schedule, and quality objectives. Additionally, this person will follow up on serial life activities and the evolution of existing cells, contributing to technical studies and validations to ensure the performance, durability, regulatory compliance, quality, and cost of the cells.
What You Will Do
- Write the cell specifications and prepare supplier consultations, participating in their nomination.
- Propose technical solutions for arbitration and define and carry out validations (internally or externally).
- Lead technical discussions with suppliers on product and process aspects.
- Write summaries on the progress of development at each project milestone in accordance with the Renault development process.
- Ensure alignment with the strategic technical roadmap and define technical policies and standards.
- Lead technical improvements on specifications and standards based on benchmarks, project experiences, and new regulations.
- Experience: 5 years
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. (Ph.D. in Advanced Chemistry is a plus)
- Highly Valued: Experience in energy storage systems, research in advanced materials for batteries and supercapacitors, and cell modeling with a focus on durability.
- Languages: English
- Skills and qualities: Mechanical dimensioning, machine learning, data analysis, and a proactive, organized, and dynamic approach, with a critical spirit and appreciation for teamwork
