PI TRAYECTORIA EXCELENTE2024Research line / Scientific-technical services: EVALUATION OF THE FUNCTIONAL STATE OF SOILS UNDER DIFFERENT AGRICULTURAL MANAGEMENT IN THE REGION OF GALICIA: FUNCIONAGRIThis research support technician contract is called with the objective of being able to adequately achieve the objectives of the research project "AVALIACIÓN DO ESTADO FUNCIONAL DOS SOLOS BAIXO DISTINTOS MANEXOS AGRÍCOLAS NA REXIÓN DE GALICIA: FUNCIONAGRI" with reference ED431F 2024/24 - PROY.

PI TRAYECTORIA EXCELENTE2024 and it will last for 4 months (ending on October 31, 2025) in order to carry out the tasks described below, which are associated with achieving the specific objectives of the research schedule.The hired person will collaborate in carrying out the following activities and tasks:Field work: travel to the sampling areas for soil and vegetation samplingLaboratory work: manipulation and preparation of soil samples for carrying out measurements of physical, chemical and biological properties (respiration, enzymatic activities, isolation and characterization of bacteria)Work office: Analysis of results and writing of reports.Qualification required: Degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering.Additional InformationEligibility criteriaAverage grade Bachelor: Weighted between 0 and 8 points.

Being the 5 the minimum punctuation, and 10 the maximum.Master's studies in soil or environmental sciences: Average grade weighted between 0 and 8 points.

Being the 5 the minimum punctuation and 10 the maximumScientific publications (articles and/or Conferences) in Soil Sciences and/or Agronomy and/or Forestry (1.25 points / indexed publication and 0.75 points / non-indexed publication and prestigious conferences): between 0 and 10 points.Knowledge and experience demonstrated in previous contracts in the study of the physical (structure), chemical and biological properties of the soil (respiration, enzymatic activities, bacterial biomass) (5 points per year of work experience and 0.2 points per course taken): between 0 and 25 points.Knowledge in molecular biology and experience in soil microbiology analysis (bacterial isolation and characterization) (5 points per year of work experience and 0.2 points for each course): between 0 and 25 pointsResearch stays to learn soil analysis and characterization techniques (1 point per month of stay): between 0 and 5 points.Driving license - B: 3 points.English level: 5 points / B2 or equivalent, 2.5 points / B1 or equivalentB2 level or equivalent of other languages different to Spanish or Galician: 1 point per each language (maximum 2 points).Personal interview: Suitability for the job will be evaluated.
