ZigZag is expanding! After a decade of success in the UK, we are bringing our proven business model to Spain, with a launch planned for Q3 2025. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious and high-performing Business Development Manager to be at the forefront of our Spanish expansion. As our first hire in Spain, you will play a critical role in establishing our presence, developing key relationships, and driving our growth in this new market.

As our first Business Development Manager in Spain, you will take full ownership of identifying new business opportunities and securing strategic partnerships to drive our market entry. You will be responsible for market research, outreach, lead generation, and closing deals, working closely with our UK-based team to ensure a seamless launch.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who loves building relationships, developing sales strategies, and making an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our entry into the Spanish market, building our brand and presence from the ground up
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan, targeting key players in ecommerce, logistics, and retail
- Working closely with the Marketing & SDR teams to establish outreach programmes, thought leadership and promotional activity
- Identify, engage, and convert prospects into long-term business partners
- Create and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and value propositions tailored to the Spanish market
- Represent customer needs internally and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and implementation process
- Act as the face of the company in Spain, attending industry events and networking to establish strong business relationships
- Continuously track and analyse market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to shape our strategy
- Work closely with the UK Commercial Director, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving revenue and sustainable growth
- Extensive experience in new business development, with a strong network in ecommerce, logistics, or retail
- Proven track record in solution selling, ideally within a SaaS or logistics environment
- Strong understanding of the Spanish market, including key players, trends, and challenges
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Ability to travel as needed to meet prospects and attend industry events

Descripción
- Diseñar y llevar a cabo las estrategias comerciales para obtener mejores resultados de las ventas.
- Mantener una comunicación activa con otros departamentos, como el director general o el director comercial. La comunicación es vital para que todos los departamentos entiendan que se debe avanzar a iguales velocidades para llegar más lejos.
- Crear los presupuestos y elaborar una previsión de ventas, real, alcanzable, medible, y además llevar el control sobre esta.
- Gestionar las grandes cuentas. Como responsable de ventas debes apoyar la adquisición de grandes clientes y por supuesto su mantenimiento.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
- Estudios mínimos: Grado o estudios superiores.
- Experiencia requerida:
- Perfil Hunter:especializado en apertura de nuevas cuentas.
- Interlocución nivel-C: Defensa y presentaciones de alto nivel.
- Imprescindible experiencia en venta de procesos de BPO: externalización de los procesos vinculados tanto al Negocio como a la Gestión Documental. Servicios de Back Office/ Front Office, Digitalización, Consultoría de procesos, Custodia, BPM,...
- Experiencia en la gestión de equipos de trabajo.
- Valorable: Cartera de clientes y contactos alto nivel.
- Competencias:
