Seleccionamos Médico o Médica para prestar servicio en una de nuestras delegaciones ubicada en Madrid.

Como parte del equipo sanitario de nuestra oficina, te encargarás principalmente de la realización de reconocimientos médicos a personas trabajadoras, promoción y vigilancia de la salud, así como tareas relacionadas con la función de la profesión.

Se ofrece:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Advisor to join Norgine. The person holding this position will report to the Medical Director and be a member of the Medical Affairs team.

The core responsibility of the of Medical Advisor is to provide high quality scientific and clinical support to medico-marketing activities and to the field-based teams (where appropriate) to support the Iberia Regional Commercial Unit (RCU). You will build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders (external experts, medical societies, and Patient advocates and Organisations) as well as help manage any clinical research conducted or supported by Norgine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Be the local internal medical expert for the according medicine/s and therapy area
• Review and sign-off of promotional and non-promotional materials for Norgine products, to ensure compliance with the Codes of Practice
• Work to ensure compliance in all Norgine Spain & Portugal procedures including GxP, Codes of Practice and medicines legislation
• Lead medical affairs projects and activities in Norgine products in Iberia
• Represent Medical and contribute with medical expertise in the local cross-functional team for the according medicines and therapy area
• Maintain high standards of technical proficiency
• Support in the medical training of Norgine staff and partner's staff
• Develop relationships with external experts, patient organisations and professional groups
  
  

MAIN TASKS:

Medical Affairs activities

• Be the Medical expert for the local BU Brand Leads. Contribute with scientific expertise to medicinal products for Iberia in such a way that medical questions can be dealt with promptly, accurately and in line with local procedures and legal requirements
• Leverage clinical/scientific data to optimise the delivery of brand plans, supporting IISs as required , and Norgine Studies ( RWE, etc)
• Be the point of contact for the understanding and internal management of local company-sponsored real world studies and related publications
• Work with CROs, as required, in the analysis of the data; share the data internally and externally (investigators) for interpretation, positioning and publication planning
• Act as the local primary "data expert" for the products
• Support the development of medical affairs projects & publications plans
• Collaborate with Norgine MSLs in presenting scientific data to HCPs
• Plan and lead national advisory boards and expert meetings, share insights appropriately within Norgine
• Understand current and future positioning aims for the brand and identify scientific activities that support the achievement of those aims
• Identify and share new published data and communicate insights to the Business Unit and other relevant stakeholders (MAPA, Regulatory, Sales..)
• Monitor key information sources of changes within the pharmaceutical industry, national health system and healthcare which may impact on Norgine products and communicate of relevance to the local brand team / BU
• Proactively identify needs for promotional/ non-promotional material and discuss with Local BU Leads & cross-functional team
• Offer External Expert insights to support medical and scientific strategy and communications
• Through expert knowledge of the scientific data and using clinical experience and knowledge, form part of the core team for the development of clinical arguments for HTA submissions
  
  

Code of Practice

• Review of Norgine products promotional/ non-promotional materials to ensure compliance with the applicable Codes of Practice- Farmaindustria/ Apifarma
• Sign off promotional and other material in line with the Company certification procedure
• Support the Medical Director with compilation of effective complaints against competitor promotional campaigns and defence of complaints against Norgine Brands claims as appropriate
  
  

External stakeholder relationships

• Establish and develop strong relationships with key external customers including External Experts/ professional groups in relevant therapeutic area, in order to gain insights to support sound decision making and brand strategy development
• Identify opportunities for collaborative work, such as research, guideline development, meeting presentations etc
• Provide accurate and non-promotional scientific information relating to licensed and unlicensed products and indications following unsolicited requests from HCPs
• Develop relationships with patient groups and third party organisations to facilitate the exchange of scientific and clinical information around Norgine products and raise awareness of relevant disease areas
  
  

Training

• Provide internal training and specialist support on Norgine products for Norgine staff as required
• Local approval of training material prior to use
• Validate the medical and scientific content of training materials
  
  

Technical Proficiency

• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of disease areas and their management of relevant company products
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and the relevant therapeutic area
• Attend relevant training courses, and apply to daily tasks using agreed action plans, coaching and knowledge
  
  

RELATIONSHIPS:

• Collaboration with the relevant Commercial Unit functions/ personnel
• Close collaboration with other medical personnel in Global medical and in other RMUs
• Close collaboration with Regulatory personnel
  
  
  

Requirements

• Science degree and scientific knowledge with experience in Medical Affairs Department. Medical education preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
• Ability to understand, process, communicate and present scientific information to a high standard
• Knowledge of the applicable GxP regulations, Good Clinical Practice, ICH Guidelines and applicable Code of Practice standards (Farmaindustria & Apifarma)
• Good understanding of the studies (IISs & RWE) & clinical trials process and research infrastructure in the country in which the role is based
• Excellent presentation and team working skills
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Excel
• Ability to work autonomously with a focus on positive cross-functional collaboration with medical teams and the Business Units
• External and Internal customer focus with strong networking capabilities and integration with Health Care Professionals to ensure opportunities for the local health service, Norgine and patients are maximised
• Prioritise and plan work with an appropriate sense of urgency and enthusiasm to cope effectively with obstacles and pressure

• Support the development of medical strategies and activities in alignment with other departments to ensure the appropriate positioning and use of the assigned product (s). Support budget monitoring
