As they continue to expand their presence in Spain, they are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Commercial (Sales) to lead the sales strategy and elevate the service offerings in the port sector.
Role Overview: As the Senior Vice President of Commercial (Sales) for Port Services, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team. Your expertise in the maritime and logistics sectors will be crucial in identifying market opportunities, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring that our services meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed performance metrics and foster a culture of excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry organizations.
- Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and ensure alignment with client needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our services and brand.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the port services, maritime, or logistics sectors.
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Deep understanding of the port services market in Spain, including regulatory frameworks and industry dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
