The candidate will join an ongoing research project funded by private sources, focused on developing new drugs for pediatric RMS patients. The selected candidate will work in our hospital research center, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, bioinformatics experts, statisticians, and pharmaceutical companies.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- The collection, and processing of biological samples from rhabdomyosarcoma tumors and cell lines. Conduct research using molecular biology techniques, including primary cell cultures.
- Participate in the design and execution of in vivo studies using patient derived xenografts models to evaluate the effectiveness of new treatments.
- Perform functional in vitro studies in cultured cells using molecular techniques such as CRISPR/CAS9 technology, flow cytometry, transcriptomic and proteomic analysis etc.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, bioinformaticians, statisticians, and pharmaceutical companies, to advance the project's goals.

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biomedicine, Medicine, or related fields.
- Willingness to work with patient-derived xenograft mouse models.
- Some Practical experience with core wet-lab techniques such as RT-PCR, immunoblotting, immunofluorescence, and cell culture is preferred.
- Integrity, resilience, teamwork, organizational and communication skills.
- Motivation for a career in translational cancer research.
- Experience in translational research with murine models (drug administration, mouse surgery, mouse models pharmacokinetics...) is highly valued.
- Demonstrated interest in pharmacology, target therapy, immunotherapy or molecular biology.
- Maintain a proactive attitude, active listening skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
