As our Resort Operations Manager, you will ensure a seamless guest experience, overseeing the smooth operation of all on-site activities. You will coordinate and monitor the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and technical departments. Planning and implementing sales-increasing measures for the various outlets are also part of your tasks, as is budgeting for the coming years.
Our resort in Marbella is located directly on the beach promenade, with a fantastic sea view. With over 600 beds spread across 166 apartments, the resort offers its guests unforgettable experiences in the south of Andalusia. Our guests relax with soothing massages, stroll through the various shops, experience the regional culture at the flamenco show or enjoy local and international specialties with a unique view in our restaurant “La Terraza” or the “Café y Mercado”.
Your responsibilities:
- Management of the entire resort including budget preparation and target achievement
- Leading and supporting the Head of Department Management Team and between 60 and 70 employees
- Ensuring compliance with standards and continuous improvement of work processes and preparation of employee deployment plans
- Ensuring impeccable customer service
Your qualifications:
- Completed commercial training or bachelor’s degree in the hotel industry
- Several years of professional experience in various departments in the industry (especially at reception and in the catering industry)
- Management experience, ideally in the food & beverage sector or at reception
- Excellent written and spoken German, Spanish and good written English skills
- Proficient use of the most common IT programs (e.g. MS Office or Google Suite)
- Willingness to work flexible hours
