Your Mission
We're on the lookout for a Senior Backend Developer to join our revolutionary music analytics platform. In this role, you'll be the architect behind our system's core, working closely with our cross-functional team to build robust, scalable solutions that power our user experiences. With over 20 million downloads, we're not just creating software we're fostering a community united by music.
This role goes beyond coding - you'll be the backbone of our technical infrastructure, crafting the foundation that enables our platform to grow and innovate. - Proven Experience: 5+ years in professional backend development, with a strong track record in Node.js and TypeScript for large-scale applications
- Architectural Expertise: Skill in designing scalable backend architectures and RESTful APIs

We're looking for a Growth Manager specialising in Customer Relation Management (CRM) and lifecycle management to help scale our social discovery app. In this role, you will support the General Manager and Head of Growth and work closely with the cross-functional product team to plan, design and execute campaigns across various user segments. You will be responsible for defining our CRM strategy, developing growth tactics, and conducting experiments to boost subscription and in-app purchase growth underpinned by our virtual economy. We have a strong culture of data-driven decision-making, so you need to demonstrate a deep passion for data.
The perfect fit for this role is someone who’s practically a pro at diving into data to define user segments, designing visually appealing campaigns and developing growth tactics that are both innovative and effective.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage the end-to-end delivery process from planning to building and delivering CRM campaigns (specifically e-mail, in-app, and push notifications).
- Define concepts, design CRM campaigns and coordinate the creative content design of the associated material in text and images.
- Bring a test-and-learn, data-driven approach to CRM, executing a plan based on lifecycle, user value and more.
- Define and analyse user segments and create custom optimisation plans, getting the right message to the right user at the right time.
- Collaborate with the Experimentation Lead on measurement, experimentation, and analysis.
- Advise on how to leverage user data for sophisticated campaign strategies.
- Work closely with the product team to improve the customer experience in the store, as well as personalisation and dynamic communications.
- Support in developing innovative monetisation concepts and gamification mechanics that significantly contribute to the increase in LTV.
- Strengthen our experimentation culture and promote best practices for data-driven decision-making at our app.
- You’ve extensive experience as a Growth Manager or a CRM Manager focusing on customer relationship marketing and lifecycle management.
- You love to design campaigns conceptually, implement them operationally and develop them further.
- You always take an analytical approach to understanding user behaviour and planning around data-driven insights.
- You have solid experience in A/B testing in any digital marketing channel.
- You know your way around marketing automation tools like Braze, Leanplum, MoEngage, or Iterable for planning and launching campaigns.
- You have a high attention to detail and are comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- You are an expert in working with metrics and can hold your own with the data to back you up.
- You’ve worked at scale with millions of users to grow retention and monetisation.
- You can work and communicate effectively with diverse people and working styles to get stuff done and thoughtfully and constructively challenge and influence the people you work with.
- If you’ve worked on online dating, social discovery, community or entertainment products, but it’s not essential.
- You have worked on conversation rate optimisation (CRO).
- You have experience with copywriting for marketing or sales communications.
