Descripción de la oferta

La Unidad de Nutrición y Salud de Eurecat ofrece servicios científicos y tecnológicos avanzados para los sectores agroalimentario, biotecnológico y farmacéutico, con un enfoque en salud y alimentación.

Nos especializamos en la prospección de ingredientes, diseño de alimentos y evaluación de su eficacia biológica, apoyados por un profundo conocimiento de los ingredientes y procesos alimentarios. Realizamos estudios preclínicos in vitro y en roedores para evaluar intervenciones nutricionales o farmacológicas, así como estudios de intervención nutricional y promoción de la salud en colaboración con el Hospital Sant Joan de Reus.

Además, evaluamos la seguridad de ingredientes y productos alimentarios a través de estudios de toxicidad, siguiendo las guías oficiales. Nuestro enfoque integral permite a las empresas de estos sectores acceder a soluciones innovadoras y respaldadas científicamente.

RESPONSABILIDADES

Ensayos Preclínicos

• Diseñar y ejecutar estudios in vivo en modelos murinos (rata y ratón), garantizando el cumplimiento de los protocolos éticos y normativas legales vigentes.
• Supervisar ensayos preclínicos orientados a la evaluación de la seguridad y eficacia de nuevos compuestos bioactivos.
• Analizar, interpretar y documentar de forma rigurosa los resultados obtenidos en los estudios preclínicos.
  
  

• Planificar, desarrollar y ejecutar proyectos basados en cultivos celulares, tanto en condiciones estándar como avanzadas.
• Optimizar protocolos existentes y desarrollar nuevas metodologías para el mantenimiento, manipulación y análisis de cultivos celulares.
  
  

• Aplicar técnicas avanzadas de biología molecular, incluyendo PCR cuantitativa (qPCR) y citometría de flujo.
• Interpretar resultados experimentales y comunicar los hallazgos de manera clara, precisa y orientada a la toma de decisiones científicas.
  
  

• Redactar propuestas de I+D para la obtención de financiación en convocatorias públicas y privadas.
• Coordinar la gestión de proyectos financiados, asegurando el cumplimiento de plazos, objetivos y entregables establecidos.
• Publicar resultados en revistas científicas de alto impacto y presentar avances en congresos, simposios y ferias del sector.

• Doctorado (PhD) en Biología, Bioquímica, Biotecnología, Farmacología, Ciencias Biomédicas o disciplinas afines.

• Experiencia demostrable en la realización de ensayos preclínicos utilizando modelos animales, principalmente rata y ratón.
• Sólida formación práctica en el manejo, mantenimiento y análisis de cultivos celulares.

We are looking for a motivated candidate to incorporate as a RESEARCHER for SUNTEC area, which is mainly dedicated to design, development and implementation of sustainable and scalable solar conversion technologies. The applicant will be incorporated in the research line focused on advanced glazing technologies and will be involved in several national and European R&D projects focused on integration testing and validation of smart dynamic windows. This research line aims at:

• Developing innovative smart glazing technologies based on advanced chromogenic nanomaterials (electrochromic, thermochromic, photochromic) capable of maximizing both energy efficiency and visual/thermal comfort
• Developing optimized smart control systems and energy optimization models for dynamic glazing systems embodying IoT and AI platforms
• Designing, modelling & validation of energy efficient glazing elements both at component and at built environment levels

Most of these activities are carried out in cooperation with prestigious research centers (both at national and international level) and various industrial partners.

We are currently looking for a Researcher-Materials Processing & Device Fabrication your main functions will be:

• Fabrication of engineered nanostructured films by screen printing, inkjet printing or spray coating.
• Formulation and lamination of advanced ion conductive polymeric films.
• Test and validation protocols of prototypes and demonstrators at both component and integrated system levels.
• Drafting of scientific papers, technical reports, participation at international scientific conferences, and dissemination activities.

What do we expect from you?

Master’s degree in Materials Chemistry, Renewable Energies, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Valued: PhD in Energy-Related Technologies.

• Experience in the design, fabrication, and characterization of nanostructured materials and photo-electrochemical devices.
• Knowledge of fundamental electrochemical techniques (cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical deposition, impedance spectroscopy, etc.).
