Descripción

Design, develop, test, debug, document, and implement components of the our data platform within an agile team, specifi cally focusingon: Ingestion and transformation pipelines.
Ingestion and transformation pipeline.
Data quality measures.
Oracle-based data infrastructure platform.
Reports and dashboards utilized by internal stakeholders and external customers.
Take end-to-end responsibility for the implemented data assets, maintaining them in production with a DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it).
Collaborate closely with the product owner and data architect to meet current and future user needs.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

What you will bring:

Solid experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of database technologies and fundamentals, including profi ciency in SQL and data modeling.
Strong working proficiency with Oracle databases and stored procedures.
NoSQL Database knowledge like Azure.
Extensive experience using state-of-the-art data and analytics tools (Snowflake and Oracle-specifi c tools preferred).
High level in Spanish and English.

It would be fantastic if in addition you bring:

Knowledge of PowerBI and Tableau for data visualizations.
Familiarity with handling large datasets.
Ability to manage security topics in an enterprise environment.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer who likes the sound of all that! In this role, you would be part of the Data & Analytics team and would evaluate requirements, design, code, and maintain high-performance data systems to drive informed decision-making.

*What You´ll Do*
* Create data pipelines to ingest data from dissimilar sources (performance, reliability, monitoring).
* Server data models as a product to the entire organisation through implementation and debugging.
* Collaborate with the other teams to address data sourcing and provision requirements.
* Coordinate with the Product & Technology teams to ensure all platforms collect and provide appropriate data.
* Liaise with the other Data & Analytics teams to ensure reporting and analytics needs can be addressed by the central data lake.

*What We´re Looking For*
* *3*+ years of experience in Data Engineering

You´ll Do* The Part You’ll Play

* Be a Data expert and have a deep understanding of how the data works; data producers, ELT/ETL process, data consumers, data quality, data architecture, analytics, machine learning, and cloud services.
* Leading the entire Data product lifecycle: product roadmap, maintain frequent communication with different clients to understand business needs and translate these to PRDs, Features and User Stories, Interface with data engineers and QA, finalize the delivery and launch of innovative products.
* Work closely with the rest of the product organizations on new initiatives to facilitate the requirement gathering process early on.
* Contribute to the overall data architecture, including the investigation of data assets, technical platforms, integrations, and processes across functions, documenting the knowledge gathered.
* Be a hands-on product manager involved deeply in the day to day of the data engineering team.
* Oversee implementation and release workflow and deadlines.
* Responsible for the Agile framework (daily’s, sprint planning, retrospective).
* Work with Marketing to provide Data & BI platform awareness and guides - both internally and externally.

*What We´re Looking For* What You’ll Need to Win This Role

* 1-2 years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner of a data product, working with data & analytics solutions (Data Lake/DWH/ Cloud Service).
* Experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry. Sportsbook Data and BI experience would be highly beneficial.
* BA/B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or another quantitative field.
* Understanding how the product’s use cases affect data modeling, data infrastructure, and data analytics.
* Working experience with Snowflake, Azure SQL Datawarehouse.
* Prior experience in leading the development of Data products leveraging ELT and Data Streams.
* Excellent communication skills in English and strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven track record serving meaningful Business Intelligence through reports, dashboards and visualizations using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense or Sisense.

The Data Quality Engineer will play a vital role to develop and own automated and manual testing of data pipelines, reports and data products for customers and internal stakeholders. In this role, the chosen candidate will drive the implementation of Data Quality automation frameworks, tools, and processes to implement scalable and robust data-focused test frameworks and scripts.

The ideal candidate will have experience using modern data stacks including Apache Airflow, Data Build Tool, Snowflake, and Kafka, along with a deep understanding of Python.

*What You´ll Do*
* Establish Data Quality automation frameworks, tools, and processes
* Design and implement scalable and robust data-focused test frameworks and tools across all the stages of the data lifecycle – from ingestion through transformation to consumption
* Develop high-quality, automated data-centric tests using Airflow and dbt
* Creating thorough test strategies, test plans, and test cases for all Data features and products
* Participate in the data development lifecycle from research, technical design to implementation and maintenance
* Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automation test frameworks and tools into CI/CD
* Collaborate with the other development and product teams to define high-value test strategies and test cases on large datasets and transformations to determine data quality and data integrity
* Rigorously test data infrastructure components to comply with privacy regulations including the EU GDPR, PCI, etc.
* Participate in security audits and implement remedial actions
* Learn to identify opportunities to compound the growth and efficiency in testing and automation
* Drive innovation by constantly learning about new automation technologies and methodologies, along with experimentation

*What We´re Looking For*
* 3+ years of work experience in testing automation - preferably in a role related to data warehouses, databases, ETL/ELT and/or data visualisation
* Experience in testing applications using frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, and Appium
* Prior use of Apache Airflow, Data Build Tool, Snowflake, Kafka, Ansible and other data specific tools and applications
* Proficient in Advanced SQL and Python
* Experienced with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift or equivalent
* Experienced with databases like Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL
* Experienced with data visualization tools like Power BI, Metabase, QlikSense, Tableau, SIsense or equivalent
